Recommend your lightweight stroller

We got a Snap N Go stroller to use with LO's infant car seat and we have the BOB for long walks and runs.  Now I'm trying to figure out the best option for a lightweight stroller once LO grows out of the infant car seat and we can no longer use the Snap N Go.  I don't think I'll want to lug the BOB around everywhere.  Suggestions?  TIA!  :)

Re: Recommend your lightweight stroller

  • We have a bumbleride flite, very lightweight but solid and nice looking, my husband actually prefers it to our Phil teds. I would also look at the maclarens.

  • I am due in January with my first baby and was given a city mini.   I love it!  It is lightweight and easy to fold up.

  • We have a Maclaren (I think it's a Techno...). I love it - I keep it in the back of my car all the time. We used a Snap 'N Go when DS was a baby with the infant carrier and then we have a Jeep jogger that we use for neighborhood walks, or if we know we're going somewhere that we need an all terrain stroller. Besides that, we used our Maclaren for every other purpose. It's an umbrella stroller, so it folds up easy and doesn't take up much space!

  • We have the first years Jet stroller that we keep in the car for quick trips. its a nicer umbrella stroller. It was not expensive, had great reviews, and I like it a lot.

We are some kind of stroller twins because we've got the Chicco Cortina for our travel system and the FY Jet for our umbrella stroller too.

We barely ever use our stroller though so it wasn't at all worth it to us to spend the money for a MacLaren or anything. Definitely get something light!!
