Any NFL football lovin's mommas-to-be out there?
So I make no qualms about the fact that I love professional football. Our friends and family even know to only call us on Sundays in an extreme situation because we will be watching football. We even do a yearly live football game for our birthday presents to each other (we live close to St. Louis, the team isn't fabulous but the games are fun!)
Anyone else? If so, whose your team?

I agree - do not like Cam Newton at all. He is a very selfish player now, he is more concerned about his own stats than anything else - not the benefit of his team (who need him right now).
We are a conflicted house - DH is a Dolphins fan, I am a Cowboys fan, and we live in Rams territory! haha!
Really we just enjoy the game so much, we watch lots of teams. DH said he knew that we could be together when is started yelling and swearing at the TV when we had been dating only a few months! We came in the Fox NFL Sunday theme song at our wedding! :-)

hey the Rams are getting better! I actually haven't watched any today but yes I enjoy a good rams game. I'm in stc.

I route for the chiefs as my back up team. My dad is a diehard fan. DVRs the game each week. This season has been really disappointing.

Cam's lolly-gagging run is what annoys me the most. I'm always yelling for him to run, I know he can, I've seen it! Ugh. He pisses me off. He needs to care more for his team and less about his stats.

Don't get me wrong, I like the team and I think they are getting way better (all ready so far from where they were a few years ago), we were season ticket holders a few years ago because we enjoy the games so much. I live in the Metro East and it's nice to see the progress the team is making!

Not according to my fantasy stats! Loving him the last few weeks. He had a rough start, but I'm currently in 2nd place in my league so I can't complain ;-)
We live in NY, but cant be Giants or Jets fans because they are technically in NJ, and being a Bills fan is just embarrassing. My husband loved Donovan McNabb when he played for SU and followed him to Philly. So, we are (sadly this year) E-A-G-L-E-S fans :-)

Absolutely!! Born and raised in MN so I'll always be a Vikings fan (even when they suck...kinda like now haha! Stupid Christian Ponder...anyway..) DH was born on the east coast (Boston) so he loves The Patriots and now so do I! We have a lot of Vikings/Patriots gear in the house
When my mom found out about your little one she went out and bought us some Vikings onesies 
Also I was looking on the NFLshop.com and there was a Patriots diaper bag that I'm thinking about getting DH for Christmas!!
Anyone else go as far as to play Fantasy Football?? Yeah. I'm totally guilty of that too!
I didn't play this year (I have a graduate school class that has been brutal from the start) but I have played the past 3 years

ouch...the Eagles are something else this year. I do love Donovan McNabb and he was shafted in Philly - he never had the respect he deserved

LOVE the Cowboys! They are struggling this year, but die hard is die hard. Our kid will have 3 teams to compete with - Cowboys/Dolphins/Rams gear!!

LOVE Eli... he's such a good player and such a sweetheart.
Sad story you guys will appreciate. Last weekend, my Dad got 4 tickets to the Packers/Giants game up in NY. DH and I were up in NY and CT visiting family for Thanksgiving, but I had a train heading back to DC Sunday afternoon while he wasn't returning until Tuesday afternoon. So Dad brought my brother, sister and DH to the game. I was 90% jealous, 10% glad... I was so tired that the night game would have been tough and not drinking beers would have been a give away!
I'm a diehard Eagles fan. Needless to say its been a really rough season.
& I'm still very upset that they traded Akers... & yes this wasn't recent lol
When hubby & I met he was not a fan, don't think he ever even watched a football game before. So it was a little frustrating I guess that Sundays revolved around the Eagles. He is completely converted now & I think he's even more of a diehard fan than me!
I told him I was preg by giving him an Eagles onesie.
If it makes you feel better he just missed a game winning three pointer. Just saying.

Holy cow that was so amazing!! Love Zuerlein - that kid has a leg on him that rivals the best in the NFL (he has been setting records left and right as a ROOKIE!) They better hold onto him tightly, everyone will want him in the future if they consider getting rid of him!

It was not started to make fights - it was just for ladies who love their football to talk about the sport! I hope everyone will have fun with it all :-) I am all over the board with NFC/AFC love and I am the first person to say my team is playing like crud!

It does make me feel a little better.
But then I feel bad for him - oh these damn pregnancy hormones lol
I am a 16 year Eagles season ticket holder and having lived through the entire Donovan McNabb era, I can most assuredly tell you he was NOT shafted in any way. In fact, I think most people (including me) stuck by him too long. His next season in Washington clearly showed his time was up
This season has been completely depressing for me, but my sister and I go to the games together and tailgate while our H's stay with the kids. So we still have fun. We are also in first place in our fantasy league and have won the championship a couple times
