Background: My son is just shy of 6 months and weighs 18lbs, 9oz. I EBF, and he's in daycare apprx 7AM-4PM. While at daycare he has 4, 4-oz bottles, about 1-2 tbsp of cereal and a veggie (two times per day). I feed him before daycare, and he eats again after dc twice before bed. Usually one night waking/feed. He is continuing to gain weight steadily and always seems satisied. On the weekends I breastfeed only (no pumped milk unless I am done) and continue to offer cereal/purees and all good. My supply has remained steady ovrtsll and I pump very predictably
Questions: As he continues to get older and bigger, will I start to produce more soon, or will he continue at this same rate? I've read conflicting information that I will produce more/he will drink about the same till 1 year. Did your supply increase after the 6-month growth spurt? I assume since he is satisfied and gaining, I stay the same course and follow his lead if it seems like he's not getting enough? (I had been wondering if I should start sending more milk during the day at DC)
Thanks for your thoughts...
