I was wondering this too and going to ask. I am super freaked at the thought of him choking, so I make them teeny tiny- like the size of a pea or less. I fed him blueberries earlier and I cut them into 4s.
I either give her long sticks, or chunks that are about the size of a cheerio. For soft things they might be a little bigger, for harder things a little smaller. She's pretty good at chewing though.
Now that his pincer grasp is more developed, I go pretty small (like the size of a pea). If it's something harder to chew I make it bigger so that he can hold it and gnaw on it (he did this with a rice cracker at a restaurant the other night).
