Babies: 9 - 12 Months

is there such a thing as a "nap strike"?

carter only napped for 45 minutes today. not good. he was a complete grouch around 2-4 but then was okay after that. still went to bed at his normal time. anyone else go through this?

Re: is there such a thing as a "nap strike"?

  • DS started this a few days ago. I hope it ends soon, dealing with a cranky baby is no fun. :-(

  • yeah, DS had two 30-minute naps today, and then I finally coaxed him into another one, thankfully. He's not usually this non-nappy, but I think it's just the age...

  • Hmm, well if there is such a thing, DD is on one for sure!  She woke at 830am, and didn't nap until 2pm! I thought it was going to be a nice long one since she skipped her morning nap, but it only lasted an hour and a bit. And she didn't go to bed until 815pm....  She's been resisting her morning nap since Monday.  Good thing is though, she's been in a GREAT mood.  Not sure what's up.
