I've been absent from the boards for a few weeks as I decided to take a break after my failed FET in September.  Some of you might remember about them calling me first with a positive beta and then rescinding it several minutes later.  It was a terrible way to hear the news.  Anyway, we were originally going to do another FET this month, but decided to wait until after the holidays because I couldn't stand the thought of another failure with all my husbands family around as they are visiting next month.  Well, my first period after the FET was very irregular with a lot of spotting.  Then this cycle, I was just getting back on track and was a few days late so I POAS the day before Thanksgiving and it was a BFP. Honestly, I'm still in shock and actually very nervous.  I remember all the chromosomally abnormal embies I had on my PGD report and I can only hope that I hit the lotto with this one.  I hope that this is it and I have a healthy baby growing in me.  I'm cautiously sticking my toe in the door here to say hi.  :)

TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!

    Congrats emikat this is amazing news! I understand your fears and I hope this is your lucky one. I really think I just got lucky this time too, it does happen. Please keep us updated.

    Congrats!!!  All fingers crossed this is your sticky bean, I bet it is. This seems to be the way it works for many of us, the sticky one just seemingly pops up out of nowhere!!
