Subj. Recommend your cell phone case
I have an iPhone and currently using the Otterbox Defender case. It's too bulky, but it's very durable. It's been dragged through tho floor, been thrown on the ground and been knawned on by a 13 monh old. I'm ready for a new case since the rubber is staring to get stretched out.
I am thinking of getting the Life Proof Case, does anyone have that? It looks much more slim and seems like it can take a beating. Do you recommend your baby proof cell phone case?

OCT 2011 Moms BlogI had the defender and the rubber lasted three months. They just sent me a new rubber piece after months of waiting. It was too late though, I had replaced it with a Lifeproof case..... Way better!!
I have done underwater pictures and videos. And I like that I can take it to the pool and not worry about splashing. Or take it outside in the Pacific Northwest where it rains 9 months out of the year and I know the rain won't touch it. I felt like I had to push harder on the otterbox plastic screen than I do with Lifeproof.
I recommend it. In fact, I recommended it to all of the FB numb-nuts who I constantly see posts like "I lost all my contacts because I dropped my phone in the sh!tter...." From.
Not me!!! Nope! I am happy to say that there are no tears in our Santa picture just big smiles... though DS isn't in the picture because he acted like Santa was on fire and kept jumping down from the chair and running away screaming. We don't have a crying baby picture because DS was too fast for the camera and Santa was a bit of a wuss and didn't want to hold a squirming 1 year old.
Damn it, really?
I wanted to purchase from eBay, so much more cheaper.

OCT 2011 Moms BlogYeah it sucks, the way the cover over the camera is there is a rubber gasket and a second piece that are popping off and moisture is collecting in it. He called because he's only had it for like 6 weeks. They said unless you pay full price and buy it from an authorized retailer they won't honor the warranty. Amazon and eBay are "deal sites" so they aren't authorized retailers. But of course that information isn't anywhere unless you call about a warranty claim.
I have the otterbox defender also. My gf had the life proof case and said it broke a lot easier than her original otterbox, My LO has torn off the bottom that covers where you plug it in, and the top is ripped where the silent button is. I just filed to get a new one thru the warrenty. I only had to state where I go bought the product. I didn't have to show proof, could you lie with the LIfe Proof case and say you bought it somewhere else?
Otterbox will email you back and have you send your info like where you purchased it and have you take pictures of the damage and email them with your case number attached.
