sorry I asked this question for someone who had actually used one before and to see if it was worth the money or just a waste.

    I love this post lol

Don't waste your money. If back issues are what you are worried about or have, just use a regular pillow between your knees. I love to sleep on my side, and somehow it makes me wake up with back pain, but the pillow does help and gets rid of all pain. I know there are a bunch of technical and medical terms to go along with this post...but i'm too lazy to go look them up...

I too bought the snoogle and i got it from Toys R US.

It is pretty cool but being that I am a stomach sleeper it hasnt truly helped with my sleeping issues but I am sure that as i get larger and cannot sleep that way anymore then it will be great. They are cool to wrap around you while you chill out and watch TV.

  • My SIL bought me a body pillow and it worked great in the final months of my pregnancy and even after pregnancy whenever I have back problems I use it.  I had some bad back problems a few months ago and was using it every night it worked wonders for me. I plan to keep using it for my back and for this pregnancy as well.

  • I think it's ridiculous when people buy pregnancy pillows in first tri.

They're meant to help support your belly when you get big and to help with hip an lower back pain, also caused by being bigger in late pregnancy. Any sleeping problems you're having now are due to hormonal changes, and a pillow won't fix that. Take a unisom.

For later in pregnancy, a ten dollar body pillow will work just as we'll as those insane 'pregnancy' pillow ripoffs. Seriously, don't rush into it. Your husband will hate you.

would it be a waste if i got a body pillow and am only almost to 11w? i dont have anyone to cuddle with at night so that wont be a problem, but im having horrible problems with my hips/back at night.

(also would like to point out that there seems to be alot of negative feed back, that could be put into nicer words on this thread! Dont know if its all the pregnant hormones or what, but im sure half of you wouldnt appreciate it if someone were to respond to your questions like this)

And no, I do not blame my irritation for idiocy on pregnancy hormones. When you have been around for longer than 3 days you will understand why people think OP is being ridiculous.

I would never ask so many questions though, that's the difference. And I don't even have a living child. I can assure you it's not pregnancy hormones, it's the fact that I nicely explained to the original poster how she was coming across, yet it continues.

Believe me, I'm not one to gripe at others either ... It has just seriously gotten out of control with the original poster, as witnessed by many, many others.

I'm glad that she's liked and supported, as a previous poster said. But until today, she had only responded to literally three posts that were not hers. So the argument that she is "supportive" really doesn't hold weight with me, which is one of the reasons that her 16 posts in a week really rubbed me the wrong way. I'm not here to bash her, seriously. Again, I nicely told her earlier how she was coming across here, and I'll leave it at that. Anyway, I don't even know why I've allowed it all to get under my skin, and from now on will simply roll my eyes at her like I should have kept doing. I've got real issues to worry about, instead of someone who for some reason needs a lot of coddling on the internet.

I actually just bought the snoogle and love it! It's also pretty awesome to wrap around me when I'm sitting in bed watching tv. I recommend it!

Lol! My Snoogle got here yesterday! My sister told me not to waste the money and throw a pillow between my knees. Haha. But I've been sleeping with a pillow "thrown between my knees" for 5 weeks, and I promise you, I slept 10000X better in the one night with my snoogle than any night before! It's worth the money in my well rested opinion. :

Pppppffffffttttt I was a night in shinning armor!!! I am just not one to gripe at others. Shame on me!!!

I've had more time the past two days on the computer since my husband is on vacation so he's been doing things with my son...and I haven't been feeling good so really didn't have anything better to do than go on the computer lol (since I can't seem to ever sleep) sorry you let me under your skin lol
