Angle Tree- 9 year old girl help

I selected a 9 year old girl from our angel tree at church. On her list was "educational games, shoes and clothes". I picked out some stuff, but I don't really know what a 9-year old might like. Please tell me if I am on the right track.

The images are a little blurry, but it is black skinny jeans, a graphic tee that has marshmallows in a cup of hot chocolate saying "we belong together", a hoody and black and silver sneakers. The game is called "where in the world". Age appropriate?

  • My 8 year old niece would love all the clothes you picked out.  I don't know what the game is though.

  • Thanks,

The game sounded like it was a geography type board/trivia game.

Another question: She is a size 14 in clothes. Is this average? If it is above average, I may rethink the skinny jeans. I know as a larger women skinny jeans never fit quite right, so I would hate to get her uncomfortable pants.

  • My cousin, who I have guradianshop, is about that age.  Everyone young girl in my area loves leggings these days over jeans.  Never heard of the game before, but it looks great for the age!

  • No this is bigger than average size clothes for that age.  I would re-think the skinny jeans. She could just be really tall though, Oliver is twelve and wears size 16 jeans.  They are really loose on the waist.  Pants are really hard to buy without trying on.  Yoga or sweat pants are easier then jeans to fit.

  • That seems above average to me.  I think that's the largest size you can get in the tween clothes.   She might prefer a skirt and leggings over skinny jeans.

  • Thanks, I decided on a leggings and tunic set and still got the hoody, t-shirt and shoes.
