Ok so I have been researching online about my LOs sleep issues and need some advice. Here is the situation:
3 out of the past 7 nights my LO (3.5 mnths--previously STTN) has woken up EVERY SINGLE HOUR screaming. Screaming like someone is hurting him. ANd he never opens his eyes. We try holding him, feeding him, rocking him, patting him in the crib, nothing works. He usually screams for 5-20 minutes like that and then finally snaps out of it. He does this all night long. No fever, not teething, not hungry (we try feeding him), we gave him Tylenol just to be sure....Any thoughts? I read up on night terrors..but I thought you ladies may have some advice.
Re: Night Terrors at 3.5 months?
This for sure! I'd be going in ASAP. That many nights waking like that warrants a check up at the pedi.
I am thinking my son has night terrors as well. He never wakes up during the night, but once in a while he will wake up from a nap screaming like crazy, as if he is in pain but is still kind of asleep, we check him head to toe , check temp and nothing is wrong and after 5-10 minutes of screaming bloody murder he snaps out of it. Very strange! But anyway, if your LO is wake up that many times screaming it may be something more, I would def call your ped right away.
