Poll: Actual vs Hopeful Due Date?

What is your actual due date, and when are you hoping that your little one will arrive?

My actual due date is March 27th. My DS was nearly two weeks early and I am already feeling huge, so I am thinking it's possible that I'll deliver early this time too. I am just crossing my fingers that DD will wait until at least March 18th...this would clear both DS's and my birthday (which are also in March), as well as an important work commitment for DH.

DS was born at 40w6d. I was due Nov. 9th and was kind of hoping for a Halloween baby. Although now I'm glad he wasn't born on Halloween, so that worked out!

This time I'm fine with baby coming after EDD, but kind of need him/her to come before 42 weeks b/c I'm hoping for a VBAC. I just don't want the baby born on March 2nd (I'm due March 8th) b/c it was FIL's birthday and also the day he died.

In a weird way I don't want a February baby, but I don't think that will be an issue even if the baby came a week early. I'm not even a numbers person, but I like b-days in the first half of the month.

LO is due March 6th (a Sunday) and I'd like him to wait until then or a few days later. I think I'm going to put in March 4th as my last day at work.

My EDD is March 12th but I'm hoping to go a week late. I'm a teacher and we have state testing starting March 14th! I'm really hoping that it will not be a sub's first day. I can see test scores dropping already!

Of course all I really want is a smooth easy labor and delivery with a healthy baby boy and don't REALLY care when that may be. Wink

My EDD is March 30 but my c/s date is March 22. I pray that this baby stays in until then because not only do I want to avoid NICU time (twins were just over 6 weeks early) but March 16 is Nate's bday and March 17 is the twins bday. I want this kid to have his/her own day.

My due date according to my first u/s is March 27, and this is my first baby. But my EDD based on my last period is March 17, and LO was measuring about 8 days ahead of the 3/27 date at my last u/s. So I'm hoping he comes on March 21, which is our anniversary!

My EDD is 3/24 but baby has consistantly been measuring 3 days behind for a due date of 3/27 but for some reason they never changed my due date. I'm actually hoping for an April baby, this is my first but everyone in my family has gone late so I'm expecting to go late.

My due date is March 29. I'm thinking I might go past my due date because my mom did with me and my siblings. I'm kinda hoping the baby is born sometime during the first week of April. Since I'm a teacher, I'm hoping that I can work for as long as possible before the baby's born so I can *hopefully* be home from when the baby's born until the next school year starts at the end of August!

I am due March 23 and I need her to stay in until at least March 12. March 11th is my last day of work because the following week we have spring break and then she is due the following Wednesday. But as it looks now, if March 11th is my last day, they I wont have to go back to work for the rest of the school year giving me 4 months off with her!

My due date is march 1st. It can either be a april baby or a march baby. I really want a march baby. Nobody in my family has a birthday near or in march so she will be the first. So I guess i want her either on time or a little late but not early.

My EDD is 3/11. My birthday is the 8th, BIL is the 9th and FSIL is the 11th. I'd love the baby to have his/her own day which would mean avoiding those days, but none of us will mind sharing if we have to

My due date is March 8th. Most of my family goes a few weeks early. I'd really like March 5th which is my aunts birthday. She was my best friend and died in a car accident at age 17. I'd also like February 21st if she comes early. That's my dads birthday and he has expressed how excited he would be to share his birthday with his first granddaughter.

My EDD is March 15 and I'm cool with that day. I really want a March baby. Our anniversary is March 19 (it's also DH's cousin's bday) His cousin thought it was really cool that we got married on his birthday (he's 13) and would love to share the day.

DD was a 35 week induction due to preeclampsia and I am showing early signs of that now. I am due March 11 and just hope to make it until 36 weeks so she won't have to stay in the NICU.

The due date that I'm going with and that the baby is measuring is March 3 or 4. I am hoping baby stays in until that due date or after. As of now I'm thinking I may put in March 4 as my last date, but I have to wait until my appointment with the specialist on Dec 1 to see if I have to schedule a c-section.

Sad as it sounds with LO I am actually hoping she will hold off for nearly another 11 days... my BF's birthday is 11days after EDD and well it would cut back on having to have a birthday for EVERY month other wise its LO: March; BF: April; DD: May; Me: Early June; & DS: Late June (like the 30th)

I'm due Feb 28. I just want to make it to 37 weeks. That would put us at Feb 7. As long as he doesn't come on Valentine's day, we'll be happy.

I'd like him to come on his due date because that'll work better with my work schedule and maternity leave (with the timing of the end of the school year).

Either way, I just want him to be healthy and have an easy L&D.

Due date - 3/30. I don't have a hopeful date but DH is pulling for the 1st or 2nd so that we don't pay for a month of extra insurance lol

My EDD is 3/24 both by LMP and three u/s. I will be early since I am having a C-section, and I am hoping for only a little early - say 3/22. But I think that they will schedule me for earlier, like 3/17.

my due date is march 21st (monday) but I'm hoping that he will come a couple of days before that or that week. this is my first and no one else in my family has had a baby in the last 10 years so we shall see when my LO actually makes his appearance.

Due Date 3/4. Hoping family history of late LOs comes true and she at least waits until then or a little later to avoid SS's b-day since he already shares with SIL...and he put in a request to have his birthday before his baby sister's

Well...I'm due March 17, and I would like to make it past February 17, when I'm 36 weeks, because then I'll be clear to deliver at the hospital of my choice (which has no NICU, so they don't take non-emergent deliveries < 36 weeks). After that milestone, I want to make it past the weekend of March 3, because my doctor is out of town. Stick out tongue

Assuming I make it that far, I don't really care after that, but later is better because I want my maternity leave to go further into June if possible.

I'm due March 18th, which is also my birthday. I would love to have LO arrive on that day because it would be the best birthday present ever! I would also be thrilled with a March 17th St. Patty's day baby.

I think my EDD is March 12th, but the m/w thinks it's March 15th. Because of the Gestational Diabetes, and being on Insulin now they won't let me go over my due date which works fine for me. I hope she comes on her own a few days earlier though. DH is off for 2 weeks starting March 11th, so anytime after that is a-okay!

I'm due 3/7 but I REALLY want him Feb 28th. That's only a week early.

My edd is march 2, and I am hoping for then or atleast by the 5th. My in laws are going out of town and I would like them to be around for the birth. I will praobly be late though the doctor said I was measuring small. Which would make me think there will be a little more room for baby then in the end. Even though my us showed baby growing right with what i am.

My EDD is March 15th, and I am hoping for the baby to arrive after that. The longer she waits, the less time I have to go back at the end of the school year. I was measuring a little ahead at my u/s, so we'll see what actually happens.

According to my LMP, my EDD is the 21st of March, but according to the measurements done during the anatomy scan in week 18, my baby girl is measuring 6 days behind so my EDD has been adjusted for the 27th of March. I hope my baby girl is born on the 21st because it's the fist day of Spring and also my late great-grandmother's birthday.

My actual DD is the 10th. I am hoping for my c/s the 3rd or 4th so that I will miss 1 week of school then have spring break then as sad as it is, go back to school on the 21st

LO is due on march 6th, and has measured a week ahead consistently. I would like him to arrive sometime about 10 days early, so that it makes it possible for me to have 10weeks off from work, and I can just start up at the beginning of Spring term (starts in early may). I was 3 weeks early, and I have read that you follow after your mom? Who knows. N

Our due date is Marxh 24th according to LMP but at our first sono he was measuring a little behind but our Dr said we wouldn't change our EDD. I am sorta hoping he will come a week earlier, we will be on spring break so I will have a free week of pay but then again I wouldn't mind if he came late, April, because that will put me really close to taking the rest of the school year off. My mom was late with all of us and I think my nephews have all been late so we will see. My ultimate goal is to make it to 36 weeks, that's what I picked from the begining for some reason.

EDD is 3/17 which I would like to have. I was supposed to have been born on the 17th but came on the 9th. So that would be fun to have Kyle born on that day. I don't want him too early since I plan to work until March 4th, at least. Plus, like most people have commented we have a lot of March birthdays: 1, 5, 9 (me,, don't want to share my bday with my son), 10, 24th,, may not be a lot but still it's spread out. Don't want a Feb baby,, so, will be happy for March!!

My actual due date is 3/1 and I have been thinking since the beginning that my doc has my due date messed up by 2wks. On my initial sono Lo was measuring with a due date as of 3/1 on my last 2 sonos including anatomy she has been showing 2 wks ahead of schedule. Coincidence... I think not. I am pretty sure of when I got pregnant. Either way I will have another Pisces child.

My son's b-day is 2/19, so that & V-Day is the only day I would want her to avoid...otherwise I am not picky @ all. If she comes prior to his b-day then she will be an Aquarius like her mommy and I think that would be just fine! Big Smile

I don't know if this counts or not, but my due date is 3/8 and I have a scheduled c-section on 3/3. I think that would be a good time so I hope that 3/3 is it.

My MW refuses to give me an exact EDD (which is fine by me). Mar. 5 based on LMP, Mar. 8 based on O, Mar. 11 based on u/s. I usually just tell ppl I'm due in early March b/c I don't put much stock in one particular date. I hope it's not much earlier than Mar. 5 b/c I'm only going off work Mar. 1 and would like a few days to myself before my life changes forever Stick out tongue

my due date is march 24th. but im measuring sooner. my oldest sons birthday is march 23th i just hope im not in the hospital on my oldest birthday.
