Symptoms mainly at night??

I am about 6 weeks along and my symptoms only really show at night. I start cramping and feel like I could eat a horse lol my boobs don't really hurt at all just have a few pains every now and then and no nausea yet. Anyone else's symptoms only show at night?!

Re: Symptoms mainly at night??

  • Hormone levels peak at night. My midwife told me that's why most babies are born at night.

My symptoms also make themselves more apparent at night. I feel "sea sick" laying in bed, have insomnia and have to pee many times a night. Add a toddler getting her molars in [she gets horrible jaw/head pain and such from it poor baby] then you are describing my nights.

    Oh rapture!

  • I get cramps every now and then and I'm hungry for my next meal a lot sooner then I used to be. At night I pee about 3 or 4 times in the middle of the night. And im very gassy. But I have no sore boobs or nausea

  • Yes I had only a few days around week 5 that I had symptoms throughout the day. Primarily my nausea, gassiness & fatigue hit around 4 & continue until after midnight. I'm glad for the nighttime symptoms because this makes hiding the pregnancy from my coworkers easier -although i really do miss the sleep at night.

  • I am at the same point as you and I don't have too many either. Just tired around 6 and hungry for small meals throughout the day
  • I am gassier, more nauseous, boob-hurtier and generally more crabby in the evening. I've just been going to bed earlier so I don't have to deal with my crabby self.

  • I'm 8 weeks, and I've been getting my "morning" sickness at night. I feel fine in the morning, but around 6pm I start feeling nauseous, and I usually toss my cookies before I go to bed :-/

  • Same here. Pretty good in the mornings, just tired... then around 1 or 2... BOOM the waves of nausea start kicking in. Gingerale and crackers have been helping a little.

  • Oh boy, you aren't alone. Even though i'm only almost five weeks, I started having issues sleeping. It feels like I have to keep moving my legs. That and I wake up either parched or starving, having weird feelings in my cervix. So the fun begins!

  • This exactly. I'm just over 5 weeks, but I've been severely cramping at nights since I missed AF.
  • My boobs are sore throughout the day and I am mildly nauseous all day but at night I feel like I'm on a boat, it's awful!

  • Yup. Last time around, I would get sick and stay sick from noon until bedtime... then a week later, it'd be 2pm until bedtime. Then another week later, 4pm until bedtime, etc. Eventually it went away. (Thank GOD.)

This time... so far... I start to feel crampy / sick for a few hours after lunch, then it goes away for the rest of the night. It's still early though, as my MS didn't kick in until about 8 weeks with DD. In a few weeks I'll be in all different kinds of hell, I'm sure. Sad
