Title: Anyone have sulfur water? Water filter?
We have pretty bad sulfur water. Live on shale basically. Also a common problem in the area we live. We can minimize the smell by shocking the system with hydrogen peroxide and it takes care of it for only a short period of time.
Really looking for a pitcher filter that will take care of it. I googled it and I find whole house systems which eventually we will do but not right now. Pitchers don't list taking care of the sulfur.
Anyone have any experience with it and water filters?

we have sulfur water too, we did a culligan system right from culligan just for sulfur for under $2k. also you can put the water thru the Brita filter ( or whatever you are using) then let it sit out on the counter, the sulfur smell will dissipate in the open air.
You can also get an under the counter RO (reverse osmosis) system from home depot and put it in just for your kitchen water, they are pretty reasonable.
You can also rent the sulfur or RO or both from Culligan pretty cheaply each month.
