Anyone else have/had an overwhelming feeling their baby is one sex over the other? If far enough along to find out, were you right?
For some reason I just feel like this baby is definitely a girl. Interestingly, with our m/c I swore it was a boy. I never got to find out last time, but now am just two weeks away from hopefully finding out about this one. I know it's a 50/50 chance, and I don't believe most of the wives' tales, but sometimes I do wonder if there's something to be said about a mother's intuition.

Re: Gut feeling on the sex of the baby?
I've been right with both pregnancies - thought my twins were girls and that was confirmed with the chromosomal testing and I was sure this baby was a girl as well.
Prior to the pregnancies, it never crossed my mind that I would be a mother to girls. I've always pictured my family with boys!

Baby Girl born 1/17/13
I thought for sure my m/c was a girl. We had genetic testing done and it was a boy.
I thought for sure this one was a girl. It's a boy.
This also explains why I've never won the lottery.

My 2 year old DS keeps saying "baby ister" and has already been calling her by the girl name we have picked out
PgAL/PAL welcome, always!
Ok, this will sound totally out there but I've had two separate people who "know things they shouldn't" tell me it's a girl. One woman (who is also a professional psychic), I had a Reiki session with back in July. She knew SO many things about me, my lost baby, etc. and predicted a girl for me (I wasn't yet pg but she predicted EXACTLY when I would get pg). She was actually the single most healing element of my entire loss experience. My Dad also occasionally has predictive dreams that definitely come true. When we told him about this pg, he cried as he told me about meeting my daughter in his dream not long before.
I've been saying "she" and "her" all along with this baby. I'm actually a little freaked out by the idea that it's a boy!
I have a feeling this LO is a boy, but we're Team Green so I won't know for sure until March
. Can't wait!
DD born 3/23/2013; Baby #2 EDD 9/7/2015
I had a very strong feeling that my M/C baby was a girl, but I'll never know.
This pregnancy I've been torn back and forth between boy or girl, but we have been calling it "she." That could just be me and my extreme wanting to have a girl because I've always seen myself having one first, but it doesn't matter because I just want a happy healthy baby!
I know in my heart, my m/c was a boy. This time I thought girl until I had a dream about seeing my baby boy and at that point I was fairly confident we had a boy this time.
We are team blue!

BFP #1 EDD 12.18.12 - Missed M/C at 9w3d D&C 5.22.12
Like you said, it's a 50/50 chance but it's fun to guess.
With our first I guessed boy before I even took a pregnancy test. I remember feeling different and said to my husband, "if we're pregnant, it's a boy." I was right.
With this one, as soon as I took the test I said girl... Sure enough, we're expecting a girl.
I think there is something to be said for mothers intuition but don't be surprised if you're wrong

BFP #4, 7/22/12, DD#2 born 4/2013
With our first pregnancy, I knew almost immediately it was a girl.
This time, I really have no idea. I've been so sick, that I joke to my partner that I know it's a boy eating me from the inside ... But I also get a gut feeling that it's a she, and it's funny because whenever he talks about the baby he says "her." I'll be happy either way, but I can't wait to find out that everything is A-OK and if there's X or Y chromosomes growing inside me.
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.

Funny, I was just thinking about this. With our 2nd pg, I was sure that was a girl for some reason, but never found out. I even though of her by a certain name that we had talked about years ago for a little girl. Now, I feel like this pg is definitely a boy.
Obviously I'm still pretty early, but on Saturday we were at our state college football game, and it was senior day. When the starting QB (who hasn't been starting but was for that game) was announced and he went join his parents on field, I started crying and couldn't stop tearing up just thinking about it for about 15 minutes. I'm sure it's just pregnancy hormones, but I kept thinking for some reason that our baby is a boy since then.

I felt so certain DD was going to be a girl. I even bought a strawberry hair bow clip thing before we had confirmation. And yep, she was a girl!
This time I feel certain baby is a boy. At the NT scan the doctor said he was pretty certain baby was a boy! He asked me what I thought baby was because he said it seems that mother's intuition tends to be right. I am not putting huge stock in that reveal but I am going in for an elective u/s on Dec 14th and will try to confirm then, if baby is willing.

Lurking from PAL...
I had a gut feeling that I was having a boy both times and I was right both times. With my m/c, it happened almost immediately, so I didn't have a hunch one way or the other.
I'm feeling girl, but that may just be because the ridiculous nickname we're calling her for now is an old Anglo-Saxon female name and we're referring to her as "her" for now. Old wives' tales so far also point to girl, but we all know how reliable those are!
With my m/c I thought boy but we'll never know.

The hubs and I both think Girl for this baby. I also thought Girl for my angel baby, but won't ever know.
However, just to maybe make sure that I won't be too shocked at a little boy in there, I will sometimes say, "He" or imagine a little boy and get really excited for that experience, too.
My 7 year old nephew REFUSES to believe that this baby could be a boy, guess we will have to see what that is worth too!

With my last pregnancy we never found out either but both my husband and I thought she was a girl so we treat her like that and try to use the female pro-nouns. This time around I feel like he's a boy!!! But I guess we'll see in 3 months!
