XP- Double Stroller Question

My son will be just under 2 years old when the new baby arrives, I have been looking into double strollers and when I spoke to the people at my local BRU they told me because I have Chicco infant seat I will only be able to use a Chicco double stroller and the thing is $300... I am not really looking to spend that much, and it looks super bulky.

Does anyone know any other options, I think I saw the joovy sit and stand is compatible with chicco? what is everyones experience with double strollers and what will you all be doing? thanks!

Re: XP- Double Stroller Question

  • Finding a double stroller that isn't super bulky under $300 is nearly impossible.

That said, The Joovy Ergo Caboose will fit the Chicco, since there is no real adaptor.

The regular Joovy Caboose ultralight at $149 will fit the chicco car seat.

Yes.  There is a bench in the back as well as a place to stand.

  • The joovy ergo caboose is pretty huge, the regular and ultralight caboose are lot smaller, which is good and bad. Your children will have more space with the ergo, but at 2 years, your toddler might want to be walking a lot more. I have the ultralight and think its a great stroller, but I haven't used it with a carseat. I believe when using the ultralight with a carseat, the back rider has little room to sit and he/she will pretty much need to stand. There is an additional seat, the caboose too seat, that you can buy to make the rear seat a full seat.
