While DH and I are gone on our cruise we have family keeping Elliot. My mom will have him Thursday-Sunday, and then my MIL will have him Sunday to Saturday.
My mom asked my to write out everything so she has a reference while she's keeping him. I want to make sure I'm not leaving anything out though.
Right now I have his "schedule" typed out, as well as his bottle schedule and how much to feed him and how many scoops of formula to use, How to get his solid food ready and when we feed it to him. I'm also going to make a diaper bag checklist for her for when they go somewhere. DH and I also have a notarized medical release incase (God forbid) they have to take him to the hospital or doctor.
What else should I make sure I add to this?
Re: Help me write a baby handbook?
Yay for you and DH!
I'm not sure how much time they spend with your LO. But maybe certain things to do if his mood changes drastically. Like this toy works best. For my family that watches my LO during the day I have to try to limit TV and ask them to do Tummy time and such.
When my mom watched DS she asked for a list of little tricks. Things you do to make him happy that you wouldn't think about. For instance for DS nothing else works except to rock him in a figure 8 motion if you want him to sleep and he's overtired. Just because DS is picky and I have a list of 9-10 things I constantly do in my head and usually something works to calm him, but its easier if you have that list!
Things like that are hard to figure out in a short time period.
great idea! We give him Gas drops quite a bit and sometimes tylenol before bed if he's had a bad teething day.
