So uhh about my whining this morning

I managed to get a nap in with the kids today and it was 2 hours of total bliss.

Then all hell broke loose and DH came home to the sound of a crying coughing baby and me on the phone to telehealth while holding DD's hair as she heaved over the toilet.  I know a pretty picture I am sure. While I was taking care of DD he took DS outside and then told me to go upstairs and hide for a while.  I had a bath and read a book.  A whole book.  And when I came downstairs he had both kids in bed sleeping.  My mom dropped by (wearing a mask which was both very smart and hilarious all at the same time) to drop of some pedialyte that she found about an hour away from here in the flavour that my kids like and she has offered to relieve me of my children on Monday so I can have a day off. 

My mom is awesome.  I am planning to sleep on Monday.

    Lol. Maybe it was Goodnight Moon.

    Not Goodnight Moon.   Thankfully neither of my kids like it. I read it to DS once and he took the book out of my hands and threw it away. 

    No it was an actual novel and it was good and an easy read.  Only took a couple of hours.  And it was a wonderfully quiet couple of hours.
