Hello!
I have finally worked up the nerve to make an introduction, after lurking for longer than I care to admit. I guess part of me is worried that actually posting anything about this pregnancy is going to result in something bad happening. However, I find myself needing to talk with people who can understand the paralyzing fear that is equally present with the excitement of finding out your pregnant again.
My story in short because I never posted on TTCAL: My husband and I have been married for just over 3 years and got our very first BFP back in February. We were both ecstatic and na?ve, and told our families after our first u/s where there was no indication of any problems. Fast-forward to the 12-week NT scan where we found out that the baby has stopped growing at 8 weeks 5 days. We were both devastated.
I am now trying to maintain positive thoughts that this will be our take home baby. I got my BFP a couple of weeks ago and I am anxiously awaiting my first u/s after Thanksgiving, where I hope to get a better idea of the due date and see a strong hb. So here is to hoping.
I look forward to getting to know all of you and I wish you all a very healthy, happy and uneventful 9 months.

IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
#1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
#1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
#2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!
All of this! Also waiting until after thanksgiving for first ultra sound, but have blood test Wednesday. So feeling also anxious to get past thanksgiving. H&H 9 months!
BFP#1 9/7/11 EDD 7/23/11 mc @21 weeks caused severe bladder obstruction on 3/14/12
BFP #2 9/9/12 EDD 7/19/13 started to mc @ 8w1d on 12/7/12 ended up with d&c 12/18/12, stopped developing @5w5ds

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
I am so sorry about your previous loss. The fears you are feeling related to this pregnancy are really tough but I hope you can feel the support of people who understand here. I will be thinking of you as you await your u/s.

Congratulations and welcome. We too found out at our NT scan that there was no longer a heartbeat, so I can understand the fears you have right now. Mine is in a week and a half, and I'm already terrified. So know we all understand where you're at, we've been there.
This board is full of amazing women, and I hope you find all the love and support you need.
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
