Ideas for Announcing?

My husband and I would like to wait a bit before we announce that we're pregnant and we were thinking that Christmas might be a great time to do it. Has anyone done anything really cute or special to tell your family?

    We are 4w3d, so only 2 days ahead of you!!  We are planning for Christmas too!!

     We just bought these "We can't wait to meet Grandma" sonogram magnet cards that we are going to wrap and give to our Moms -- https://www.invitationsuite.com/grandma-be-sonogram-magnet

    ET on 7/31/14 -- 1 transferred (4bb); 8 frosties!!!

    I am thinking of giving my parents and grandparents an ornament...either babys first christmas 2013 (and see if they figure it out) or make one with a pic of the sonogram (if i have one) and the due date on it.

    Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS!

    I am pregnant with our first child. I'm almost 6 weeks and we are planning on announcing it on Christmas day when all the family will be together. My idea was to give each person a cupcake in a little white box and when they open the box the cupcake will be decorated with a baby or a baby theme item. I'm open to other suggestions too!

    We're thinking of buying a few dollar store bottles, rolling up our 8 wk u/s inside of it, tying a pink and blue ribbon to the top and "due July 2013" in stickers on the back! :)

    I'm American and my husband is British, so I created a picture with an American flag in a heart + British heart flag = a onesie with a mixed American/British flag.  Then I went online and ordered the picture made into a puzzle.  We're going to give it as a Thanksgiving present for my family and a Christmas present for my in-laws.  I wonder how far into the puzzle it will take before they figure it out...

    Me 36 with endometriosis, PCOS, fibroid and ovulation issues, DH 40
    TTC #1 since 04/12, BFP 10/12. Missed MC/D&C at 10 weeks 11/12
    TTC #2 since 12/12
    6 clomid cycles since 7/13, all BFN
    IUI #1 (2 b2b) with clomid and trigger shot on 1/20/2014 BFN
    IUI #2 with arimidex and trigger, B2B IUI's 2/24 and 2/25, BFN
    IUI #3 with menopur injections and trigger, IUI 3/23, BFN
    7 month break

    Fibroid surgery 10/14

    IVF cycle 1 beginning Nov. 1st...cancelled due to follicle issues.  On hold for Dec. due to holidays.

    IVF cycle 1.2- Gonal F (100) as of 1/12
