Adoption

God is throwing us for a loop....

I don't know what He's trying to tell us at the moment, honestly. We were blessed by getting pregnant the next cycle after the M/C we had, and I am thankful, but I still feel that we have a child in foster care and they NEED us. I am going to put my faith in Him though and let him guide us, and I know everything is going to be okay when it's all over.

  • If you put your faith in God everything always works for the best. If you're not meant to foster then God will ensure that child is placed in the best and very capable hands. You're heart people to want to foster and God blessed you with a child and if he can do that he can do anything : rely on your faith love :
  • (( Hugs ))  I'm sorry, I know it's a scary road being pregnant after a loss.  Try and relax, take care of yourself, and take it one step at a time.  You can do this, and when you and your DH feel the time is right to re-visit adoption from foster care you can always get back into it.

Congratulations, thoughts and prayers for you and your family, I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months : )

  • Walk by faith and let Him guide you. I don't know how else to describe it, but if you really feel called to it, things will fall into place and it will feel right, when the time is right. We were looking into IA four years ago, and seeing an RE at the same time. We were very blessed that things worked out for us with the RE, and we had DS. We were over the  moon! Things didn't work out the next time, and we had almost forgotten about adoption, thinking that it must not have been our path after all, since God had led us away from it years before.

When the time was right, God let us know. Three years later we had just finished a failed cycle and were completely miserable and not comfortable with the treatment anymore, and that weekend my husband and I ended up sitting across from a couple of adoptive parents that we know at his best friend's birthday party. Over the course of the evening they told us all about DIA, which we had never even considered before. When I remembered adoption (it was like a light bulb turning on), I felt so much peace. I knew that's where we were going. It felt right and everything fell into place almost magically. I hope you find your way, and thing fall into place for you as well.

Good luck with your pregnancy! T & P that it goes smoothly and amazingly well :-)
