I haven't even been to sleep yet. I'm getting aggravated. J fell asleep in the car so he's been whining bc he's in his crib. L keeps wakin up every time I try to lay him down ANYWHERE! He just sucked down a 4oz bottle but apparently he let some run out of his mouth bc my shirt was wet.
Nvm J just passed out.
Re: Can we start the checkin early?
Getting ready to head to bed now... B has been asleep since about 10:20pm (est)... took an hour to get him down - poor guy was overtired and just couldn't wind down - totally my fault, it was a busy day
Tomorrow he has his 2 month appt/shots... another
Hopefully he sleeps through till about 6am so that we can get the day started right.
b/c he's stuffy has been coughing he didn't want as much bottle.

Also I don't know how it works bc it didn't for us. One of the guy Dh works with said to make the crib smell like you or YSO.
We just got a 3h45min stretch tonight after feeling like we'd never get past 20 mins. We supplement, so he gets changed and swaddled between BFing and his bottle. We put a heating pad in the crib while he has his bottle, then put him down asleep. Inclined crib. White noise. One dim light left on. And we keep a hand on his chest after we put him down so he feels cuddled, until we are sure he is asleep and not startled awake from putting him down. And then one of us stays in the room with him and does the hand on chest thing every time he stirs and starts to make a noise, before he has a chance to really wake up.
The first night DH had to shush him every few minutes for about 25 minutes after the initial 20 min sleep but then got another 45 mins or so out of him. A few nights later we got an hour plus last night and then this huge stretch tonight. Who knows, tomorrow night it may totally fall apart again [knock on wood it doesn't!] but that's what worked for us tonight.
I think the key is being in the room with him. But damn the floor is hard! We did discover the giant teddy bear we have in there makes a great pillow! LOL.
Good luck in your quest. :]
usually I'm not up long enough to post here, but apparently N is fighting sleep this evening. He slept from 8-1:30 as usual, but refuses to go back. He is wide awake. I finally put him in the swing with the water sound effect to try to make him sleepy, but so far it's not working.
Ugh...I need my sleep!

I got so mad at dh I called him at 5: 30 asking when he would be home, he told me around 7. I told him I needed him home earlier to help out with DS because he was crying non stop. He didn't get home till 7: 30. He thought I said it would be fine for him to work later.

It will get better! C sleeps 8 to 10 hours at night and I don't even feel full when I wake up anymore. Your body will regulate when baby gets a predictable thing going for a few days. :] You'll be able to sleep comfortably in any way!
I wish.
it's been a month. Stupid oversupply.
Oh geez. :[
