I'll start today!
I don't see the point of buying Christmas gifts for my child. I'll buy them but I get the feeling she is not going to look excited about anything or remember it so I feel like it's really for me and not for her.
I'm starting to feel guilty again about working so much. I want to take O to swim class and library time and Gymboree and I can't when I work and hour and a half away. I don't want anyone to take her but me.
Re: FFFC
Emily is sleeping in the clothes she wore yesterday, she fell asleep in them and I sure as hell was not going to wake her up to change her.
I feed Emily sweets and candy.
I trust my dogs around my baby more than I thought/said I would when I was pregnant, I was one of those I will never walk out of the room with her and the dogs in there...I do it all the time to go pee or get something from the other rooms.
MIL let Emily chew on her keys once.....she has about 20 keys on one ring (she never throws out old ones)....I wanted to throw up when I saw Emily put them in her mouth. That is one thing that makes my skin crawl...I can garantee I have never once thought to wash my keys and most other people dont either and they have been in so many places. Not trying to flame you it just reminded me of how grossed out I got when MIL did this
My mom said we were more excited about ripping the paper when we were that young. She also said if she could do it all over she would've just wrapper a bunch of empty boxes.
My FFFC is my H watches WWE therefore so do I, so I know waaaaaay too much about it.
We're getting them each one toy and that's it. Well, maybe some clothes or shoes or other practical things that we need for them, but we're not going crazy with the "fun" stuff and we've asked our families not to as well. I also plan on only letting them use a few gifts now and putting the rest away to take out at later points in the year.
I think it's ridiculous to judge others for lifestyle preferences that differ from our own. Different folks spend money on different things. If others' choices don't affect you, why waste the negative energy on judgment?
And, yep, that last part was more of an OU, or a response to an OU, but it went along nicely with my FFFC, so I figured what the hell.
DH cleans the house on his day "off" and I don't feel even a little guilty about it.
Allison is in a Mommy phase and I actually hate it. I can't walk out of the room without her crying - DH can't even feed her right now. It is exhausting.
I hate Adele's music...her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.
Ok - I remember them today!
I gave Hayley a taste of hershey bar during trick or treat. She loved it!
Yesterday - I had to fish out a dried dead leaf out of her mouth. Yummy...
Hmmm - I had more but now I forget...I may be back!

I used to love sucking on car keys. I remember doing it until I was around school age. I liked the way they tasted. Gross, right? But I survived.
My FFFC: we have let DS try some of our ice cream several times and he liked it
I'm doing this too. For both Christmas and her birthday. That way she, and my living room, aren't overwhelmed and so that she can have 'new' toys throughout the year without actually having to go buy new ones.
I know I know!
What are these Happy Tots meals you speak of? Must google now...
I want to give a titty twister to people who use "then" when they should be using "than".
I think it's ridiculous to abstain from something just because "baby won't remember it" or not buy cute yet pricey baby clothes/shoes for a special occasion or treat because "they'll only wear it for a short time and it'll get dirty!". If you can afford it, why not enjoy life a little bit? Enjoy the moment! They're only little once, and you only get one go around on life's merry-go-round.

My car keys are my go-to when we're out and Aria's not happy. I do use paci wipes on them occasionally when I feel like they're getting really grody. You gotta do what you gotta do!

This!! It skeeves me out too!
This, and it makes me feel so guilty. But whenever I'm in a room Natalia has to be touching me. If we're all in the kitchen she has to be sitting or standing next to me and holding on to my leg. If I leave the room, she cries. If I walk into the room and don't go right to her, she cries. H is gone all week and this has made mornings awful because I get them ready to go, play with them for a little bit, and then have to get myself ready and she just cries and cries and cries. She also cries when I attend to Olivia but I don't want to not play much with Olivia just to keep Natalia happy. I can't wait for H to get home!
I should have read through the FFFC's before posting part of mine. I could have just quoted you and saved my "breath".

Me too! I think car keys might ave a good dose of lead. I think I read that somewhere.
No, because then I would have missed your lifeasmerrygoround reference and it's one of my favorite sayings!
ETA: Pretend there are dashes. Damn mobile site.

After 2+ years and multiple treatment cycles,
including an IVF vacation in Costa Rica/Panama,
IVF #2 brought us our miracle baby!
Surprise! Baby Boy is on the way!
Ok here's a stupid question, are our kids toddlers now?? I always thought that was kids past a year. Can I start buying the toddler food?!! We're still at Stage 2.
We moved to stage 3 and 4 food about a month ago. I consider "toddler" when they start walking or over a year. It really just depends on if they (or you!) are ready for the different texture of food...
I'm going to see the midnight premier of Breaking Dawn part 2 next week.
I have Call of Duty: Black Ops II on pre-order, and I will probably stay up all night Tuesday playing it.
I've already given Anna one of her Christmas gifts. We got her a walker and she's getting a lot of use out of it already. What's the point in waiting? It's not like she knows the difference!
Anna's favorite toy when we go shopping is my wallet. When I get it out to pay for something she goes BSC if I don't give it to her when I'm done with it.
Right, Laura eats very little actual baby food - she gets angry if we have food and don't share, so she mostly gets table food. But I wouldn't consider her a toddler until she actually starts toddling, or once she gets to a year old.
I spent about $75 on DD's outfit for Christmas. And I am absolutely in love with it and can't imagine having gone cheaper with it just to save a few bucks because I wouldn't love it as much as I do.
In return, I am wearing the same dress I wore last Christmas. It was maternity, but you can't tell

I'm jealous. I've decided I have to give up the FPS online games for now because I can't just hit pause during a live match when L needs my attention. I've switched back to football and racing so I can just leave it for an hour if I need to. Trying to solve my brother's ps3 connection on base too so we can play each other.
Thank you! I'll remember it! I will also take lots of pictures of it so he can see his first Christmas, birthday, etc... I've already spent more than enough on toys and clothes Logan doesn't NEED but I love it! We will use them either way, why not wrap up a bunch of presents and have fun with it. I can't wait until Christmas!
It drives me crazy when I'm already running late for work and I hold the elevator for someone else to get on and then they only go up one floor. I concede that they might have some not-visually-apparent reason why they can't take the stairs, but mostly it just irritates me.
I had more but I can never remember my FFFC. Letting Connor suck on my keys makes my spine shiver but I'm kind of a germaphobe anyway.
I ditched them last week. I've been sending C to daycare with little ravioli and green beans.
My Colton...Growing up so fast!
And Coralee, his baby sister...On the way!
He also jumped off of the couch, and landed on his noggin.

Lancy, I swear you need to move here...we would so be BFFs!
MrsLind, can you come here and let's go to Breaking Dawn together...or hey, I might can drive there.
I swore I'd never let Ian eat my keys, I find it quite disgusting. Ok, I failed. He eats my keys...yeah, it's still disgusting.
Hadley loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We have a video of the hotdog song saved on DH's phone, and we play it for her each morning. She now holds the phone herself to watch it while smiling/laughing, kicking her feet and bouncing. She seriously LOVES that song. And it makes her happy, so why not?!

That's PJ's favorite part too!
Sounds good!!! The showing is actually at 10 where I'm at so we can get home and get more sleep before our babes wake up!!!
No no no, you move here! There's a cute little house for sale not far from me. Then we'd be in one central place and Lindinger could just come to us, and we could all go to the movie together!
Funny thing, my hubs wants to see it. (he says he likes the wolves.
) So, would you guys mind if a hunky guy came along with us?
