finally got my hospital bill

Apparently the billing dept is a little behind.... as I'm just getting my hospital bill almost 7months later!  The good news is, the bill is only for $40.  Thankfully, I'm doubly covered under my insurance and DH's.  Although, I do work at the hospital that I delivered at and the hospital also is affiliated with the insurance that I carry, so getting care at my hospital is less expensive than if I had gone to another hospital.   Glad it isn't a huge bill just in time for the holidays!

    Glad to hear it isn't huge! I just recently got a bill for our high risk ultrasound (standard procedure, I guess) that we had a year ago! It was for $10, so I'm guessing they forgot to ask for my copay.

    That is great! It took my hospital forever to get the bill out too. Not 7 months but it took at least 5 to get all the paperwork caught up. Crazy!
