So when did you tell work?

I am debating about telling my boss when I good opportunity arrises somtime over the next week...I have a feeling a lot of the ladies in my office already "know" and I would tell them today if I didn't feel the need to tell my boss first...I would rather not tell him...ever, if that was a real option!

So when did you tell?

    This week.  I work in a small office of only 25, I think if I was in a bigger office I wouldn't have announced so soon and only told the people who I wanted.

    I'm thinking of waiting until January. I hope it isn't obvious before then.

    I told my boss at 11 weeks because I needed her to know why I suddenly had a bunch of dr's appts.  I had some trouble early on, so I waited until I received the results of an amnio before telling the rest of work at 17 weeks.

    I told them at 13 weeks, but my boss knew at 10 weeks because carpet cleaners came into our office and the fumes almost made me pass out,so I had to leave early.  He was expecting it though since he knew about our m/c and knew we'd be trying again.

    I told my boss last week and I told a few co-workers yesterday.  I didn't really want to make an announcement, so I figured word will start to spread now that I've told a few people.

    I totally understand not wanting to EVER tell your boss.  That's how I felt about mine.  I finally spilled the beans this past Monday at 15w3d & told my other boss yesterday.

    Actually work knew before family and a lot of other people! I work in an office of 12, so after my dr appts and daily puking, they had all figured it out at 7 wks. It made me nervous that they knew so early, but also it was nice that I didn't have to hide and pretend I felt ok. GL!!

    I told my boss this morning actually. So right around 16w. I told a few of my coworkers at 12w because we are friends outside of the office.

    I'm going to officially announce it to everyone else on Monday in our weekly meeting.

    Due to so many dr. appts early on I told my two bosses at about 9 or 10 weeks. They were awesome about it. The rest of my close coworkers guessed it so I confirmed it last week and then most everyone found out Monday since I was kind of "outed" by someone accidentally. I feel better now that people know. The Christmas party won't be akward (not drinking) and everyone is super supportive and excited for me. Many know about my most recent m/c b/c I fell ill at work in a public setting and had to be taken to the hospital so this is relief for me! (although a lot earlier than I planned)

    We are telling family/friends at Christmas so I'll tell work sometime after that.  I'm guessing it will be before the end of the month - or whenever I get the nerve to say something.  For some reason, I'm a little nervous about it.

    [/    RA with Sjogren's Syndrome. Risk of heart block in newborn. Age: DH and I are both 38.
    BFP #1: 11/25/2007, EDD 7/28/2008 - Missed m/c (blighted ovum) 12/6/2007 6w3d, D&C 1/3/2008.
    BFP #2: 4/2008 - Natural m/c at 6w.
    Met with RE in 5/2008 full cycle analysis and SA normal. Not considered high risk for blood clots but prescribed 1 baby aspirin a day precautionary during TTC and Progesterone suppositories during 1st trimester of pregnancy.
    BFP #3: 10/17/2008. EDD 6/23/2009,  Third time's the charm! Healthy baby boy born 6/27/2009 via emergency c-section.
    BFP #4: 6/14/2011. Healthy baby boy born 2/16/2012 via elective c-section.
    BFP #5: 1/15/2014. EDD 9/22/2014.     2/17/14:.We have a BABY!!! Heart rate 167 and measuring on time. 3/10/14 u/s #2 baby measuring perfectly at 12 weeks at heart rate of 166. NT u/s was normal. Maternit21 blood draw on 3/5/14. Results back on 3/19 - Normal.  It's a BOY!!!  4/10/14 at 16 weeks, 3 days discovered baby's heart stopped at 15 weeks, 6 days. D&C 4/11/14.  Pathology results were all normal.  New information on 8/11/14 - blood test revealed 1/3 of babys blood was in mine caused, most likely, by a tear in the placenta from extreme coughing.  Doctor believes this to be the cause of death.  Repeat D&C and Hysteroscopy scheduled for 8/19/14.  My Chart

    I told my manager at 14 weeks and everyone else in my work group at 16 weeks.

    I started telling this week! I didn't make a huge announcement, just telling people as I see them. And it's SO much fun to share the excitement!

    I'm so torn as to when to do this. I work in a really large HS and told my sped director b/c of needing some days to leave early and it's such a hassle as a teacher. I was thinking of telling after Christmas break but I'd be almost 17 weeks and I don't know if I can hide it that long. I suppose if I can find enough clothing, I usually wear a scarf all day to help hid it, but I also only have 12 more days of work till break. But I'm still not sure yet.

    B/C my school is so big and a lot of people will know I'm affraid if something goes wrong it's just that many more people to tell bad news to.

    Seeing how late some of the pp were makes me want to wait.

    I told my principal and a few other close people at work after my first u/s at 7wks2days. I didn't tell my team until 16 weeks.

    I still haven't told anyone at work but I feel like it's getting to be a bit obvious. Maybe it's just in my head?!?!

    We have a u/s on Saturday and based on good results I plan to share our news on Monday. I am NERVOUS!!!!

    I told my boss at 16w, but that was only because she was in town and I figured I better tell her when I had the face-to-face opportunity. (She's located in Amsterdam so I don't see her very often). I told the rest of my team at 17w.

    I'm very obviously showing, so I finally spilled the beans yesterday... We waited until after the NT scan.
