Sad and frustrated.... Pgal freak out..

I called the drs office to get my betas around 4 today, and got the other drs nurse, which is fine I just want to hear my numbers. She looks me up, and goes 'it loooooks like they aren't back yet. Can I call you back? Of course I say sure. I hang up the phone and I immediately flash back to two months ago. That's exactly how I got my phone call lst time when 'your numbers are going down'.

. I had called and the dr hadn't signed off on it so she couldn't tell me, so they called me back and told me. Well, 5 o'clock came and went and NO PHONE CALL. uggggh. So of course I'm freaking, noticing every twinge/cramp thinking 'oh no!'

why couldn't she have just called me back....?!

so now I sit here mad, poking at my boobs making sure they still hurt, trying not to freak out, but that's easier said than done. I'm just .... Pissed.

Oh my gosh, honey, I am SO SORRY. I am the queen of impatience when it comes to test results, so I know that must be massively frustrating. Try to stay calm -- you haven't gotten any news one way or the other. So while I get being frustrated over not getting the results, try to not let PGAL brain get the best of you right now. Hang in there and call first thing tomorrow morning!

I'm sorry that's so frustrating and scary. I hope you get good numbers tomorrow and it turns out they just list track of calling you back.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this mind game. There are 1 billion possible reasons why the nurse couldn't talk to you about the results (or just couldn't talk) at that moment. It is only natural that with your experience you would think the worst, but the reality is it could have been anything. I hope they get you those numbers quick so you don't have to worry about it for long.

Thanks ladies. I know, and that's what my hub said. 'Maybe she just got busy'. My nurse would've called me back... She knows my history and how many billion questions I ask. I go tomorrow for my 4th draw, but am calling first thing in the am and asking for my nurse! Until then, I'm sure I'm going to notice every pain and feeling and over exaggerate what they really are in my head.

it's such a rough road...

Ugh thats sooooo frustrating!!! I honestly think they dont get how important these numbers are for our PGAL brain!!! My doctor's office is the worst as well. Last pregnancy i still hadn't heard from my doctors office with my results, so I called the clinic who took my blood and they told me they faxed the results to my doctors office the day before. I left three messages with my doctor before they called me back 2 days after they had the results. Soooo annoying!!!

The clinic told me I could register online and get my results the same day that way, so this is what I did for this pregnancy. By the time my doctor calls, im like "oh i allready know the results". I live in Canada so im not sure if that online system is available in the US, but worth checking into at least.

That is so frustrating!! I'm sure if it was your nurse she would have called you back! I'm sure she just got busy and forgot, especially because you aren't "her patient." I know that still doesn't help how you're feeling tonight and I can totally relate to where you are right now. Can you have some sleepy time tea and go to bed? And I know what you mean about poking your breasts! Mine still aren't even sore yet which I think is so strange, but I'm trying not to put too much stock in my symptoms, as last time I had every symptom in the book and it still didn't turn out well. I hope you get good news first thing in the AM!!
