Hi ladies! I don't post much but wanted to throw this out there in case it helped someone. My workplace is business professional attire (suits or suit pants/blazer). I have been having the worst time finding pants that actually fit me. I'm pear shaped, and it seems that most pants are made for those ladies who are straight up and down! So I went into Express looking for a sweater the other day and thought what the he**, I'll just try their pants. WOW do they fit well! And they are a thicker material that doesn't show the lumps and bumps that I'm trying to hide. I hadn't been in there in years cause I thought it was a bit 'hoochie' (no idea how to spell that!). Definitely worth taking a look if you are in the market and striking out like I was!
Re: Work Pants
I love Express and Limited pants. And I've tried Banana Republic, Gap, Loft, and Ann Taylor.
I found Limited ones to be much thinner, and therefore less forgiving. I tried everywhere under the sun. Most of my suits are from Ann Taylor but the pants are about the most unflattering pieces of clothing I have ever seen. The jackets fit me great, but the pants are awful. Banana also doesn't fit me very well as the hips are always tight and the waist is terribly baggy. Same for gap.
This was a big find for me as I really needed to update my work wardrobe!
