Happy Election Day!

Today is my first time voting at a booth I've always been absentee. It's so great seeing so many of my neighbors exercising their right to vote. Very invigorating!

    I live in a very small town.  I went to vote at 6am on my way to work, and the line was out the door!  I waited 45 mins.  I was very surprised so many people were there.  So glad people are getting out to vote!

    I'm working at one of the largest polling places today. There are going to be a ton of people; it will be a long day. But I am really glad that there will be that many people there to vote.

    DD and I voted this morning. We got to the polls at 6:45 and only waited about 20 min. She tried to help me by pushing the buttons. The polling people gave her a sticker and asked if she was voting for carrots or spinach...,whatever, it made her smile.

    Lucky, I've never done the polling place, I've always done absentee.  I've always wanted to wear one of those stickers, too.  Yay us for voting!  Can't complain about politics unless you vote and let your voice be heard.

    This is a great photo. DD went with DH to vote early on Saturday. I brought her to daycare before I voted this morning because I wasn't sure how long it would take.

    I voted this morning after dropping Rocco off at daycare. I was worried the wait would be too long and he wouldn't do well. Luckily for me, there was no wait at all! Which makes me worry a little, but perhaps I just picked the perfect time to vote.
