Anyone 12 weeks and find out sex at NT scan? They were able to correctly say boy for me with my 2nd at that point. Curious if ill know early with baby 3 too!
I was 13 weeks with DS. She was about 75 percent certain it was a boy and was correct. She had been doing her job for 30 yrs so she knew what she was looking for. I think if you have someone who knows what they're doing, the baby cooperates and the baby is developed enough then sure.
I never asked at an early u/s in prevous pregnancies, but at my u/s last week she said she was 75% sure it would be a girl so we will see in December if she was right. It is driving me crazy now because I am hoping for a girl. I wish she had't guessed.

My dr tried to find it last week during the nt scan, and he explained what he was looking for and he thought it was a boy, but we did not get too attached to the idea so we are waiting to see with the amnio. Funny thing is before the u/s DH and I were discussing it, and he said he would like a girl, and I was telling him boys have a lot more advantage in this world over girls and it turned into a political discussion, but then when I heard it was a boy, I wished I had not voiced it, because I think I want a girl now!!
I'm guessing that it might be easier to say with more certainty if it's a boy- because if they definitely see something between the legs, it's a boy. If they don't see something, it doesn't mean there isn't something there. Not sure if that's true, but it makes sense to me.

I asked at my first ultrasound with DS because I had read so many stories on the bump. She said if you get an experienced tech who knows what to look for, they are often correct when they guess but that most won't even guess for you because early on boys and girls genitals look too much alike.
So, in theory it's possible for the tech to be right but I wouldn't bank on that sex until it's confirmed later.
My OB guessed with DS and was right. This time I don't think I'll let her tell me unless she is really certain. I don't want to get attached to the idea until its more clear.
