Is anyone watching this per chance?
These 4 teenage girls beat, stabbed, sodomized a 12 y/o girl and she was still alive, so they set her on fire. OMG. I am literally about to throw up. It is so crazy to me that a teenage girl, let alone 4 could do the unspeakable things they did to her and be completely unphased. They moved her 3 times and it was apparently a 4 hour ordeal. You'd think at some point someone would've said, "I can't do this! What are we doing?!"
I am just sitting here w/ my mouth wide open... Two of them are out of jail and they are going to talk to one of them (I think) and then the main girl who is still in jail... I am just so sad for this mother. I don't know how you can recover knowing that was your little girls last moments...
ETA: they said that after they set her on fire they went to McD's for breakfast and talked about how she looked like a sausage patty. OMFG. How could you just feel NO remorse?!

Seriously I have no words. How kids can feel that they have the right to touch/hurt any other child is BEYOND me. How anyone can think they are somehow better or above someone else and therefore do something like that is also beyond me.

15 years for the one... I think they said 12 for the other... I am not 100% sure for the second girl.
The third girl has exhausted all her appeals and they won't let her out. The fourth hasn't even tried to appeal.
OMG they are going to talk now to the one girl who is out... This is so stressful!!!
ETA: SOAB! They are continuing it till Monday!!!!!!!!!! UUUUUUGHHHH!

This is the kind of train wreck stuff that I am so repulsed by yet drawn to [watch] at the same time.
I can't even imagine that they wouldn't care... This is the kind of thing that really chills me to the core. How can you really have no apprciation for life? For another little girl close to your age!
Was she a random target or did they just not like her?
I am looking but I dunno that he has the full episodes...It seems more like pieces/clips. UGH. I will have to watch the rest though. Maybe DH can find it for download or something... We'll see.
I missed the first few minutes of it, but I believe they said that she did know the one girl and that girl disliked her but none of the other girls knew her at all. It's so tragic...

After Shanda?s father had gone to sleep, the girls returned to the house, Melinda hiding beneath a blanket in the backseat, clutching a knife. Shanda walked to the car at the end of the drive, without her winter coat, or any of her belongings, or any plans to leave that night, and the girls took off with her.
With the car speeding away, ?Melinda came up from behind, and put a knife to her neck,? Jacque tells. ?The thing that I have always thought was unbelievable was the only person that evening, out of the four girls, that knew Shanda, was Melinda Loveless. The other three girls had never met Shanda, and had no reason to dislike her.
?Melinda had told them in the beginning of the evening that she was going to kill Shanda that night,? Jacque says. ?They knew that was what the evening would be, and they continued to go with her.?
The girls first drove Shanda to an old burned-down house nearby called the Witch's Castle, where they say they stripped the 12-year-old down of most of her clothes. They also reportedly removed her jewelry, and the girls wore her watch and rings. They then taunted her, and threatened to cut off her hair, among other intimidations."
Have you seen the Law And Order SVU episode like this? It's eerily similar..
Why aren't things shocking to people anymore?! Well, in this country it seems, anyway..
NO! Which is odd because I usually don't miss SVU! It's probably after this... You know they do that sometimes...
I don't know... It literally makes me ill. I have never even so much as hit or pinched another person so I cannot imagine this AT ALL.
That sickens me and terrifies me. How can children do such things to other children? That is just horrifying...and makes me want to keep my kids under lock and key forever (I know I can't though).
I feel so awful for the mother...and for the parents of the other girls. I bet they never imagined their daughters would be killers. How awful...and Its terrible that they let two of the girls out of jail.
