Here I am, 21 weeks and counting... I work with another pregnant female. Here recently it seems like I just woke up and my belly was there. I can't hide it anymore in regular clothes and work clothes are starting to become obvious. I've gained 14lbs so far... Now, I know that I know none of you. But I feel like everyone isn't really telling me the truth if I've gained too much or am showing too soon. So I'm curious what your thoughts are here on my size for 21 weeks... too soon? Does anyone else feel fat? Has anyone else commented on your size?

I'm sorry, I'm just tired of explaining how sad and upsetting it makes me to my husband. LOL I figured maybe some of you ladies can relate?
Re: Has anyone told you you're belly is big?
everyone tells me that my belly is absolutely huge, i showed very quick this time as i did the time before. it isn't so much the weight that matters because i am still 1lb lower than i started at and my belly sticks way out there
this is me at 20wks

What I learned last pregnancy is that people are stupid. Seriously, they are. They don't know how to keep their comments to themselves.
My belly was big last time, like seriously big and I thought I was going to be be humongous at the end. As it turns out, I grew early and quick and slowed down a ton at the end. The day I had Olivia you would never have known I was 9 months pregnant.
Every person is different and really, you have to have thick skin when you are pregnant because people have diarrhea of the mouth and it can give you a complex if you take what they say to heart. You need some smarta*s quips to say back to those people.
I am 23w, and have gained about 17lbs and if I wear a flowy shirt, you cannot tell that I'm pregnant. Weight gained doesn't mean a big belly AT ALL. I went up 3 (almost 4!!) cup sizes, and I put on water weight EVERY WHERE (i know it's not fat because with the exception of like a month I haven't been eating bad enough to put on 10 lbs of fat) so my belly doesn't look big in comparison. i feel huge, because I feel big all over and I get pretty bummed when people say i DON'T look pregnant-mainly because I have obviously put weight on, so it just looks like I'm bigger than normal and not that I'm pregnant.
Um... your belly is NOT BIG!!!! At all!!!! Be happy.
Mine is 3 times as big as yours (I'm not exaggerating) and I'm 21w 6d.
Yay, another active duty March mom!
I'm also 21 weeks, and I know exactly what you mean. I work with another female that's 5 weeks further along than I am, and I feel like we're the same size, but I'm on track for weight gain. I'm Navy, but our maternity NWU's look like they're designed the same as your uniform pants. I've found that by wearing the maternity pants + a regular NWU top one size bigger than I normally wear instead of the maternity top conceals the bump pretty well (and especially compared to regular clothes, where a stranger asked me if I was sure there was only one in there, seriously). But, I don't think you should be worrying at all because you look great!

I'm so happy someone else is Active Duty! It's been crazy going through this in the military... it's like everyone expects you to eat everything and be a whale or be anorexic sally over there. I want to look good after I have him. I also feel that I want him healthy, happy and strong when he comes. I wear my maternity bottoms and a size bigger top too. It looks like my chest may be packin some heat! lol. I hate how people treat me though when they find out... Like I'm just broken - so frustrating. I have had a bunch of military people say my stomach is bigger and it just sucks when you can't really do much about it. This is the hardest thing I've done thus far... silly military people.
Thank yall for your support! It's been harder having moved over to Germany away from family and friends. I appreciate it!
