I was in the grocery store yesterday and a 3 year old asked his mother why my stomach looked so big. Here's their conversation :
3YO: Mommy why is her stomach so big?
Mother: She's having a baby sweetie
3YO: So that's where babies come from Mommy? (he points to my stomach)
Mother: Yes
3YO: So why did you tell me you were my mommy if I can from her stomach???
I started laughing while she tried to explain that he came from her stomach and when he was in there, her stomach looked like mine. Lol high light of my day ![]()
Has anyone else had a moment like this? Please share if you have ![]()
Re: kids say the funniest things :)
Adorable... my 3 yr old niece says the funniest things! We talk on the phone weekly and I see her monthly and she'll say things like:
"Babies are yucky and you can't have this baby until I'm 4!"
"You know Auntie your belly is not that big!"
"Is your baby stuck?"
Every time I see her I can't wait to hear what she's going to say!
This is so funny, with my SS when he found out we were having a girl he said no and started crying. It was sad, he's 8 and badly wanted a brother.
We were in the car the car yesterday and our 3 yo saw a black and white cat. She then went on to tell us that skunks are also black and white. DH said "Pee Yew!" DD's reply. "no daddy, that's just mommy"
I nearly peed myself laughing!!
LOL!
LOL! These stories are amazing. I got all emotional and teary eyed reading them... Thanks, hormones lol
My nephew: Mommy, how is Aunt Melissa's baby going to get out of her belly button? It's too small!
Years ago, One of my kindergarten students realized I wasn't married (even though I was a grown up). Sat there thinking for a few minutes and promptly says, "Mrs. B, you need a man!"
When we tried explaining to a 2yr old at church that a baby was in my belly, he said "You ate your baby?!"
With my 1st pgcy, DH's neice who was 4 at the time said "So I'm not gonna be the shortest anymore right?!" She was just happy that she wasn't gonna be the shortest person in the family anymore.
after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
