Hi Ladies,
I have been lurking for a little while and decided to intorduce myself. DH and I started TTC in April, got a BFP in September and had a miscarriage in October. I am actually still waiting for AF to show her face, so I am not actually TTC yet. Plus I have to call my dr and get some clarification because I was told two different things by two different dr about how many cycles I need to wait, so I may end up having to wait another cycle. But hopefully DH and I will be TTC again this month. You ladies seem really supportive and great so I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

We were told 2 cycles after our 2 M/C's and D&C's. Felt like an eternity! So Sorry for your loss. This is a great venting and support place! I just joined recently also! Welcome and GL TTC!!

Thanks! I was told one cycle by one dr and two cycles by another, I was only 5w along and m/c naturally so I am hoping it is only one, but will obviously wait two if need be.

After RPL testing my losses and subsequent infertility are considered unexplained.
Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!!
BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!

Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14

I'm in the same situation. 2 docs two different perspectives. So very sorry for your loss.
Welcome to the board, I am very sorry for your loss. If you haven't yet, read the TTCAL blog. There is tons of information in it, answeres to questions you don't even realize you have. My OB told me I could start TTC again after we got AF. It has been 6 weeks. I get to call her this week to see if she can get it jump started.

Thanks! I spent a lot of time reading the blog yesterday! It was super helpful! I hope you get AF soon! As for me AF showed up this morning, anybody else have a heavier period than normal after their M/C? I wasn't really expecting that.
I am so sorry you lost your little Junebug:-( I don't think I ever thought I would say this, but congrats on getting your first AF! Its the first step back toward TTC again. My loss is pretty recent, so I don't think I will be there for awhile.
Best wishes to you that your stay here is short and sweet:-)I'm so sorry for your loss. It can be frustrating to deal with such an emotional thing while also not having access to accurate information. I know that i became extremely fed up with my OB after the loss and have since turned to women on TB for answers.
I hope you get your answers and your AF soon. Welcome and I hope your stay is short!

Welcome to the board. I'm sorry you have reason to be here, but I'm glad you've found us. This is really quite an amazing place.
As for AF, it's pretty normal for your cycles to be kind of wonky for a few cycles after a loss. Many ladies also find that they find a 'new normal' after loss that isn't the same as their cycles pre-loss.
Hope you get the TTC questions cleared up quickly!

Thanks! I did a good ol' Bing search and found that a lot of women have heavier than normal ones! I really just need to call but was putting it off because I am going to be sad if they say I need to wait another cycle. But because I started AF I am going to call tomorrow FX! Thanks again ladies!
