Should I or shouldn't I?

DH and I have a friend whose sister is getting married this month. DH went to the bachelor party with said friends boyfriend. She invited me to the bachelorette party next Saturday and IDK if I want to go. I know 5 of the 15 girls going...but I don't know them well. I also am so awkward at the bar I just kinda stand there... I've never left the baby for a night either. I do want to have fun and go out...I just don't know if I feel like it. I should go right? stop being a stick in the mud?

    I went to a bachelorette party the other week for my best friend, and I had a ball!! Don't get me wrong, I love my little girl, but it was so fun to cut loose and not feel like such a mom for a few hours. I take it your LO will be with your DH, so that will be great too- you won't have to worry about if a babysitter is taking good care of your LO, or when you have to be home to relieve anyone. I think you'll have fun- have a few drinks, and take a night off, mama- you deserve it! :)

    DH just got a new position at work...so he will be working 9-5 instead of 6pm to 6 am like usual. I'll feel better knowing he is with DS instead of MIL lol. Thanks Ladies! you've talked me into it.

    I would consider going if DH was the one watching the baby. I probably wouldn't do an overnight trip though because I'm BFing and it would be too much of a PITA.
