Pretty sure I might be starting labor soon...eep!

I went in for non stress test and an internal today, and she said I wasn't dilated, but about three hours later, I had some mucous tinged with a little blood. I'm hoping this is a good sign of early labor? Here's to the full moon!

I don't mean to rain on your parade but I'm going to.. an internal exam can cause spotting and/or cause you to lose your mucus plug.. I lost mine 2 weeks ago and am still pregnant.. hang in there!

What she said. It can also fall out, regenerate, and fall out again. OP, when is your EDD?

I went for one yesterday too and I believe she did a membrane sweep with out asking or rather letting me know. It hurt a little and I bled a lot, unlike the last couple. I also had contractions like crazy last night, it was freaking my hubby out. He notices if I so much as breathe odd!! He kept asking if I needed to go to the hospital hehe.. He's so cute.

Well, that is why I posted, to see if y'all thought it was due to an internal or the real thing...I guess I am just wishful thinking! I am only 38.5 weeks, but I have to be induced in a week and I am not looking forward to it, I want to go into labor before that. I have had some more tinged mucous and some light cramping this morning, so we shall see...
