LO should have good head control for both.

DS started using the bumbo around 1.5 months.

I think we started the Bumbo a little before 3 months. DD has always had good head control from an early age. We bought her an exersaucer and jumper when she turned 4 months old.

We've been using the Bumbo for atleast a month now - she's got great head control for it.

Bumbo directions say 3 mo. I tried it at 12 wks & she wasn't ready, but this week she is doing great in it. Extrasaucer is 4 mo.

I pretty much just started both. The bumbo she's doing great in. The exersaucer she's still too small for so I need a pillow under her feet and a blanket at her back. We try for a couple minutes a day - loves it - but needs to grow into it

We use the Bumbo for very short periods of time right now. I was taking pictures today and in some it looks like she's going to climb right out. I can't trust her for a second in it between the leaning to look at things and arching/trying to stand!
