My bff's shower is tomorrow. She is having twins (first babies). I seriously love this lady and I went a little nuts buying for her girls. I have two carseats, a ton of clothes, some handmade knit things, and a carrier. The boxes for the seats are just huge, so if I wrapped everything up it would consist of two gigantic boxes and 1-2 large gift bags with a bunch of things in them.
This is a church shower where the typical spending range is $20 to $75 and usually gifts are comprised of something like two outfits and a handmade blanket. I guess I am slightly paranoid about looking boastful or something by having a lot more than the usual amount of loot for her. It is well known that we are very close friends though.
So what should I do? Bring all the stuff because its a shower and more gifts=more fun? Scale back and give her some of the stuff later so that I fit in a little better with the average gift? I thought of maybe only bringing one carseat because then she only has to lug one home from the shower, and the two seats are identical so she would get the gist from just one. What would you do?
(I tried to make a poll but it wouldn't let me! Boo!)

This. I would give her the smaller items and take a picture of the car seats. That way you don't have to lug the boxes there and she doesn't have to lug them home.
I was thinking this too.
This!
This, I like the picture idea. It would be hard bringing home the big boxes.
