Re: ***PgAL Check-In***
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Our A/S is one week from today. I am nervous and excited. We are going to find out the sex this time, and I plan to go to BRU that day to buy an outfit for my mom to open up to surprise her. I'm trying not to think about what I think baby is or what I want, because there are too many emotions involved to have a gut feeling and I don't want to set myself up for disappointment.
QOTW: Does being PgAL effect how often you are intimate with your SO?It did in the beginning. Between O time and 8ish weeks I was afraid. We also went through a bit of a rough patch in our relationship and that affected intimacy. Now we are back to normal, which for us isn't a lot. Once a week is pretty much the norm. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? My parents are returning from a month-long cruise on Saturday. We have been house and dog-sitting and I am ready for them to come home so I can sleep in my own bed! My belly is starting to get big and our pillow-top is much more comfy!
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
12w3d, baby is the size of a plum.

We just had an appointment today with the perinatologist. Our baby was looking really good and talking to her about our plan was reassuring. The ultrasound tech even predicted that we are having a boy! I know it is really early, but she was pretty certain. We will have it confirmed at our a/s in December.

Yes, it is a little scary for us both.
Open Topic: What is on your mind this week?
Braxton. Halloween was tough, but we made it through the first holiday of the season. Now for Thanksgiving and Christmas...
I am so relieved that we had a good appointment with the specialist and I finally told my coworkers. It has been getting awkward with a visible bump. Now, we just have to announce to the rest of our families. (Maybe in a few more days...)
I hope you all are having a good week!
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Well I *think* I have been feeling movement--either that or a LOT of gas! I've felt it a few different times in the past few days. It feels like just out of no where some kind of movement or bang inside my body. It really reminds me of bad gas, but I don't think I'm actually that gassy. So I think it's Ada! Also hitting 20 weeks seems like a big deal--I never thought we would get here. Although at the same time, knowing we have another 20 to go just seems like having this baby healthy and happy and full term in my arms is so far away.
