How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?16+5. A large mango or avocado. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Our A/S is one week from today. I am nervous and excited. We are going to find out the sex this time, and I plan to go to BRU that day to buy an outfit for my mom to open up to surprise her. I'm trying not to think about what I think baby is or what I want, because there are too many emotions involved to have a gut feeling and I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. QOTW: Does being PgAL effect how often you are intimate with your SO?It did in the beginning. Between O time and 8ish weeks I was afraid. We also went through a bit of a rough patch in our relationship and that affected intimacy. Now we are back to normal, which for us isn't a lot. Once a week is pretty much the norm. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? My parents are returning from a month-long cruise on Saturday. We have been house and dog-sitting and I am ready for them to come home so I can sleep in my own bed! My belly is starting to get big and our pillow-top is much more comfy!
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
I am 8 weeks today. I am not sure about the fruit I am not using that ticker this time.Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
I have appointment for bw, exam and u/s next week. QOTW: Does being PgAL effect how often you are intimate with your SO?
No, but we haven't been very active. My husband has been working 12hr shifts, 7 days a week lately. So I don't see him very much. By the time he gets home I am going to bed and he leaves before I get up.Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
What has not been on mind this week is more like it. My mind has been a crazy mess this week. Hoping it settles down soon!
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
12w3d, baby is the size of a plum.
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
We just had an appointment today with the perinatologist. Our baby was looking really good and talking to her about our plan was reassuring. The ultrasound tech even predicted that we are having a boy! I know it is really early, but she was pretty certain. We will have it confirmed at our a/s in December.
QOTW: Does being PgaL effect how often you are intimate with your SO?
Yes, it is a little scary for us both.
Open Topic: What is on your mind this week?
Braxton. Halloween was tough, but we made it through the first holiday of the season. Now for Thanksgiving and Christmas...
I am so relieved that we had a good appointment with the specialist and I finally told my coworkers. It has been getting awkward with a visible bump. Now, we just have to announce to the rest of our families. (Maybe in a few more days...)
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? 33wks 5 days, a durian fruit whatever that is LOL
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Another NST and U/S on tuesday and dr took me out of work starting Monday.
QOTW: Does being PgAL effect how often you are intimate with your SO? No but I think just being pregnant has made it hard to be intimate period.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? 24 days until my scheduled c section and I am so afraid she will die too. It is so tough. I freak out almost all day long. I need to try to relax but I can't seem to. I am a nervous wreck!!! I want this baby here and not gone like Sydney.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?19 weeks 6 days today--half baked tomorrow! A mango becoming a cantaloupe. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? We had another visit to L&D yesterday. This time I wasn't that freaked out--I was getting what I really thought was round ligament pain and called the OB for reassurance. She sent me to L&D just in case! Everything was fine luckily. And while we were there they were able to get us in for the second part of our a/s so we had another cervical check and got to see the baby again and got lots of pictures. We have another cervical check in two weeks and our next OB appt a few days after that.QOTW: Does being PgAL effect how often you are intimate with your SO?Yep. I know that for women at high risk of PTL they will often tell you no sex. I am not considered at high risk this time around because the last pregnancy was so complicated with it being twins and one twin dying early in the 2nd trimester. Everyone under the sun--the regular OBs, all the MFMs we have seen--have insisted it is extremely unlikely to reoccur this time, so no restrictions of any kind. But since *I* have trouble believing it won't happen again, I also have trouble having sex. After no sex for months we finally forced ourselves last weekend. Not the most fun to force myself, but I figured necessary (for me to get over my fear) unless we want to go the next 20 weeks + postpartum time with no sex. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Well I *think* I have been feeling movement--either that or a LOT of gas! I've felt it a few different times in the past few days. It feels like just out of no where some kind of movement or bang inside my body. It really reminds me of bad gas, but I don't think I'm actually that gassy. So I think it's Ada! Also hitting 20 weeks seems like a big deal--I never thought we would get here. Although at the same time, knowing we have another 20 to go just seems like having this baby healthy and happy and full term in my arms is so far away.
