toy cleaner...

I'm not generally overboard with sanitizer but with a preemie and it being a flu season I have to be extra careful.  My son is starting to put things in his mouth and grab them so I need to sanitize his stuff when I can.  Does anyone have a sanitizer for toys (plastic not stuffed) that they would recommend? I've been looking at the 7th generation spray. i want something nontoxic obviously since it will inevitably end up in his mouth (not directly but after it dries on the toys)

    i just wash my toys with hot soapy water. if i need to wipe i use pacifier wipes

    do paci wipes kill germs? Since my son has a compromised immune system I need to make sure I'm killing as many as I can this year :-)

    Maybe check out the Medela Quick Clean Wipes. In addition to using them to clean breast pump parts, they also can be used on toys, high chairs,etc.. The package says they are "hygenic" and that they are "unscented, alcohol and bleach free."

    Another preemie mom here--I wash toys in soap and water. I sanitized pacis just like bottles and pump parts last year, this year they get soap and water. Also, I really like the babyganics brand of sanitizer stuff. Its easier on the hands and smells better than most. They have wipes that I keep in my diaperbag for times we are out and things fall or need to be wiped down.

    If you have a dishwasher, as long as it's clean, you can use it to sanitize all sorts of things, including baby toys.

    I am a preschool teacher and we all use diluted bleach and allow to air dry. I think that is standard in preschools/ daycare. It definitely kills the germs.

    This is standard in hospitals as well. Or use Lysol wipes and allow to air dry, same thing.

    I see the Clorox anywhere spray is recommended. I wonder if that's all it is. Diluted bleach?? Thanks guys!
