So this morning my doctors office called with the results and my levels went down, and were at 9, so not zero. But that the heavy bleeding was okay, as long as it wasnt one pad for every hour. So that was a HUGE sigh of relief!!! Until later this morning I started to have such heavy bleeding that it was one pad atleast every hour. So I called the office then, and they said they wanted to see me right away. While walking to go tell my boss I started to freak out, thinking worse case scenerio, and by the time I got to my bosses office I started to cry- I hate crying infront of people, I was so embarrassed. Then I rushed to the doctors office and she wanted to do an ultrasound.
When they did the ultrasound the lining of the uterus was clean- no residual tissue! Yay! And the lining was very thin, so she guessed the bleeding was just a period, and that it would be over soon. While she was in there she looked at everything to make sure all looked well. And found an abnormal cyst on my left ovary. She said it wasnt round or fluid filled, but irregular shaped and debris filled, so it could be a problem. She printed a picture, and said we would look at it again in three months and if it hadnt changed, treatment would need to be done. Im not really sure what treatment is, if anyone might be able to tell me.
I feel relieved that the partial molar isnt causing problems(atleast for now), but I still have to get my levels checked every week until its zero. She seemed to think next week it would be at zero, or the week after at the latest. Then monitored once a month after that for six months. Then we are back on the TTC bandwagon!!
Hopefully the cyst turns out to be nothing, but if anyone has some insight on that, please let me know. Thank everyone for your support yesterday and this morning.
Re: Another update- longish
Well....that is good new that the OB thinks it is af....that means things are going back on track!!
Ovarian cysts are very, very common...and most of them resolve on their own in 2-4 cycles. Here is a very good link that explains about each type of cyst and the treatments for them. I personally have had 3 that I know about (along with a few fibroids on my uterus)....and my OB does the same thing...take the measurements and re-check in about 3 months. Try your best to not let it stress you out - (I know...easy for others to say when they are not in your shoes...but I have been there 3 times already!!)
I can't wait till you and I are both on TTCAL together!!

I'm glad they didn't find residual tissue. As for your cyst, as others have posted, it is very common. I had to have a couple of ultrasounds this summer b/c I was having terrible pelvic pain and my doc found a small cyst on my right ovary. At the time we were not ready to start TTC so he prescribed me BCP so that I wouldn't ovulate.
I had pretty bad pelvic pain over my left ovary last week and I think I may have had another cyst that ruptured.
It's good news that your doc is on top of things and will f/u with you soon. GL to you!
