I'll play. I'm exhausted and have been super congested with a headache for the last few days. I cant tell if im coming down with a cold or if its just allergies. MH is in bed, sick as a dog with I think some crap that's sounding like bronchitis. DS is napping on the couch right now, so I should really lay down and nap with him. I'm a little jealous that MH gets to sleep in, in our comfy bed. I don't want to bug him because I know he's feeling shiitty right now, but wtf. He gets to sleep in way more than I do!

Earlier this week I told DH that on Friday I wanted to either go floor shopping or to the pool with DS. Friday rolls around, he says he has a few things to do and leaves. Gets back just in time for DS to go down for a nap. Then it starts to rain. He slipped up and said that he not only ran errands but also went shopping for guns. Thanks a lot. I got to do nothing.
Last night should have been date night but DH worked late and thought it was too late to take DS out (it was 6:30pm). Gee, thanks again DH.

Let's see. It's a rainy, yucky Memorial Day weekend. We have plans to go to a local museum, but it will probably be crowded because no one can be outside in this weather.
DH just freaked because there was an advertisement on TV from a law group looking for people who had complications from Mirena who want to sue the company. I had Mirena inserted last July. I told him I'm well aware of the complications the ad listed, but they are rare and as far as I know I'm fine. Now, he's still going to worry about it though.
DD2 has the beginning of a diaper rash which she hasn't had in awhile.
Okay, those are all pretty mild, and at least I'm not working!
ETA: How could I forget the sinus/allergy issue I've been having the last couple of weeks. It can go away any time!
Nora still gets an occasional diaper rash. Corn starch always clears it up quick for us. Hope she feels better soon
Pollen sucks here too.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

Oh. And. Our washing machine just stopped working, mid cycle. So now we have soapy sheets that need to be rinsed. And two men trying to fix it. Our laundry room is directly off the bathroom, so I can't take my shower.nbsp;Maybe SD will get her wish about not going to the mill. Sad day. nbsp;
That blows!
Dh is talking to his dad aka our landlord ab the water heater. Were either gonna pay to get it fixed or replace it and he's going.to reimburse us.
We had Ds's birthday party last night. Someone spilled what looks like strawberries on the carpet in the family room, then tried to clean it up with what looks like the purple/red/blue colored napkins, which basically just smeared the colors into the carpet. Instead of telling us about it, they put the bumbo on top of the stain and just left it!! We are definitely not clean freaks and wouldn't have cared one bit, I'm just really confused why someone would hide it vs just tell us so we can treat he stain right away.
oh and we rented a bounce house, but it rained the whole party, so everyone was stuck inside. But Ds had the best day of his life despite the rain!

Thanks. Aaannndd...my MH got up a few hours ago and he has a temp of 101.3. Ugh..I REALLY hope me and the baby don't catch whatever shiit he has!

That flucking blows. I feel your pain completely because this same thing just happened to us last month. We just ended up buying a new washer and dryer ssince ours were ancient hand me downs. It was expensive, but its so nice to not have to worry about having a whole load of sopping wet soapy laundry and a broken washer anymore!
I have a stupid cold or something. Dh is convinced it is allergies though. I just know my throat is v sore, I am congested, and a cough. I feel like crap.

That's a punk move! I'd be livid. Not about the stain, accidents happen, but about trying to cover it up.

The absolute worst thing about being alone with a newborn is when they decide to be inconsolable right when you really need to do something you can't hold them for. Getting dressed, taking a poo, etc.
That is what I'm dealing with today. I'm almost glad I'm approaching "mommy needs a time out" status because I'll use my time out to get dressed and brush my teeth. Until then I'm inwardly cursing whatever mechanism it is in newborn brains that causes them to do this.
I'm having the worst back pain from pregnancy. It's been ongoing for 2 months now, but the past 3 days have been constant.all.day.pain. Nothing helps. Ten more weeks to go. Not sure how much more I can take. I hate being pregnant dammit!

Definitely sounds like a child did that. UGH that sucks!
I'm exhausted, and DD won't take a nap so that I can lay down.
Plus one. My son doesn't nap for any longer than a half hour these days. Thank god he still sleeps pretty good night...but man, its brutal when I'm exhausted and all I want to do is take a nap, but he's not having it!
We took the kids to an outdoor museum park thing today. It was nice, but hell, I am exhausted. Between wearing the little one and chasing the toddler, we are both so beat that I could see us in bed within the next hour. And it is 7.20.

This post is a perfect places for this:
