Hello ladies,
I introduced myself about a month ago, but I don't think I was ready. I didn't know the rules and my loss was still so fresh to me that I was still on the loss board more than here.
My story in a nutshell:
My first loss was when I was 19, in early 2005. It was my boyfriend's. The pregnancy wasn't planned, so I was surprised how devastating it was.
I met my husband when I was 23, in July 2008. We married 7/2/2011 at a winery in the Fingerlakes, in NY State. We've been TTC since March 2012.
In March 2012, we got a BFP. We lost it a day later. That was devastating, too. But thinking back on it, I was very innocent: I thought that if you planned a pregnancy, it would happen. So I had starting getting excited for our baby before we even starting trying, taking it as a given that it would happen . . . I didn't know any better.
After that CP, I discovered TB as a great resource.
Our second BFP was in the beginning of July. I was skeptical the whole time, but nonetheless I let myself get excited. EDD was 3/15/13. I made it to 8 weeks: a US at 8 weeks 2 days on 8/6/12 confirmed that the baby had just died - It was sized at 7 weeks, 6 days. My nana had a dream it was a girl, so thats what we are going with. I passed our LO a couple of weeks later and we cremated her in our back yard.
I turn 27 in 2 weeks. My husband is 35. I am a law student in my third (and last) year. I've recently decided to be TTA for career reasons. But I somewhat despise myself for this decision because the whole reason we were TTC in the first place was because I didn't want to be a career driven betch that can't find time for her family. But if we are blessed with a healthy pregnancy now, the timing would be super bad career-wise. . . . . So, the best that I can say is that I am waffling as to my TTC status.
I'm going to start charting as soon as I get AF. I'm looking forward to that new experience. Hopefully it will give me a feeling of control over my whacky body.
I am looking forward to being part of this board.
Thanks for reading and I'm sorry for all of your losses ![]()

I think I remember you a little from before. Many ladies come to TTCAL and aren't ready yet. I'm glad that are getting back to the point where you can start thinking about it.
There are many ladies in varying lengths of TTA on the board right for various reasons. Finishing your education is important, you've put alot of work into it so far. Don't feel bad about putting that first, it will ensure a good future your your future rainbow(s).
So, welcome back. I'm so sorry for your losses. {{hugs}}
PS. As you have lost 3 pgs, you may want to discuss repeat pregnancy loss testing with your doctor during your TTA period. That way you can have it done before you TTC again.

Thank you, ladies.
And thanks rlajambe for the support re the education and for the advice re testing. My Dr. seems to think that because the first loss was so long ago, and that since they were all at different gestational ages, that my next one should be fine. But maybe I need a second opinion ....
