We're starting Xmas early

If you can have Christmas in July... I'm having it in October lol.

We just bought a tree and put it up to see how the cats will react to it, usually they try and eat them.  so we figured if we put it up now, by xmas they should be bored of it LOL...so I now have a 7 an a half foot neked tree in my front room Confused

    LOL, thanks, you reminded me this will be another year of tacky-looking Christmas tree with ornaments only about 3/4 of the way down and/or a big baby gate around it.

    Has anyone ever actually tied their tree to the wall? I do worry about DD trying to pull up on it and potentially pulling it over which is why we'll probably gate it but I know some people tether theirs to the wall and I wonder if that actually works?

    Our cat just ignores our tree, but loves eating the ribbons off presents. Thus, we no longer use ribbon ;)

    i want to start Christmas early too! Taking down Halloween stuff this week...and I just want to put up my Christmas stuff NOW..LOL

    I love Christmas and I am so excited to do all my Christmas traditions with DS this year and I wonder how DS is going to be with all of my decorations =)

    well...so far so good.. a good heavy sprinkling of pepper on the branches seems to have cured nosey baby kitty from playing with it too much lol ... we may still have a tree by Christmas
