Halloween party - are you dressing up?

DS's class is having a party for halloween and it's mandatory that one adult attend with him.  I'm not a Halloween person per se.  I like dressing the kids up but I haven't dressed up since I was in junior high! LOL  It's just not my thing!  I don't want to be the only mom not dressed up though....  If you're preschool is doing something similar are you going to dress up?  What will you be?

  • Our PS is having a parade and party where the kids dress up but most of the parents work and probably won't attend.

If it's not your thing what about just buying a headband of cat ears or a festive shirt?

  • We hosted a Halloween party today and I wore a "cowgirl" shirt and a cowgirl hat and the kids got SUCH a kick out of ME being dressed up. With little effort you can have fun with it and your kid will love it.

  • I never dressed up for the daycare party or at the PreK party.  This year, the kids do not dress up at school (they had the fall festival on Sat and the kids dress up then).
