Recently had a home birth and would like to get my midwife and her assistant a gift. Has anyone done this? If so, can you share your ideas? She very recently opened a birthing center, wondering if there would be something I could contribute for that?
Re: Midwife gift?
I just sent my midwife a card with a pic of LO.
Maybe a plant for the birth centre or a piece of art. Maybe a photo of a newborn with a relevant quote. My birth centre had a lot of professional pics of newborns/babies/maternity photos. Some with quotes etc.

I didn't do one with my first.
This time, however, my midwife went above and beyond anything I could have possibly imagined. I got a little hand-made wooden sign reading "breathe" for the birthing suite I used and some bath salts and lotions since there were 2 midwives and 2 trainees present (the trainee actually caught dd) so I wanted something I could get for everybody.
