What are your thoughts on Adelaide?

I'm really liking this name at the moment! We are not expecting right now, but as much a I like baby names I'm always thinking ahead for the future : DD is Bridget Caroline. So what are your opinions/thoughts on this name?

    I like it, but I know too many Addy/Maddy girls.

    It's not really my style but it's one of my friend's favorite girl name ever. I do like it with your DD's name though.

    And I wanted the say that I LOVE your daughter's name. Bridget will be our next girl, if we have one. 

    See I hadn't even thought of the nn because we don't really go for nn unless we absolutely love it and addy is definitely not one that I do! Thanks so much we Love it, it is such a great name:)

    I LOVE it!  I would just use the full name all of the time; you don't have to use Addy if you don't want to.

    Adelaide is one of my favorite old timey names.  It does lend itself to Addy, but if you're not into nicknames it isn't a problem :) (also, I like Addy).

    Adelaide is just okay for me; probably because of the influx of Addy names lately.  I also LOVE your daughter's name (both fn and mn) and don't think Adelaide quite measures up.  But that's totally just my preferences obviously.

    I think Adelaide is a beautiful name! It was on our short list but its pretty popular here. I know 2 under 1 and a friend is pregnant due next week and naming her Adelaide.
