It seems like I want just about everything I see throughout the year, but as soon as Christmas comes, I can't think of a single thing. This year has been different though -- my covetousness knows no bounds.
I want new makeup (I like the Perfekt line from Sephora), new dishtowels for the kitchen, clothes, a dual paddle bread machine (expensive) or *finally* have our wedding photos organized into an album.
I really want a Nordstrom's gift card so I can actually buy a thing or 2 with the personal stylist's recommendations. There are also some very impractical shoes I want that I wouldn't buy myself, some fashion rings and earrings, some tops and sweaters, and I have also mentioned to DH that I would like to get my back windows tinted so DS isn't blinded by the sun everyday (he is always facing into the sun when I drive and the sun shade isn't cutting it). I always love gift cards to my favorite stores including Starbucks! That is all I can think fo right now that I put on my list. I should have added "a couple months of professional maid service" but I forgot that until now
Ice cream maker attachment for my KA stand mixer, new video camera, a pair of sneakers I haven't had a pair of say to say sneakers since HS but my back is too jacked up for heels restaurant and SBux gift cards, zoo and aquarium membership.
I want some black boots, but i have really wide calves and they are hard to find. I was an enamel coated cast iron pan (crusty bread is good), I want a bicycle, something commemorative of DD-probably jewelry (DH had a big fail last Christmas and Mother's day), and maybe some new jeans and casual clothes.
gift certificates to Nordstroms and Banana Republic
Do you have any ceramic dishes? I sharpen my knives on the bottom of one of my ceramic plates (on the part that isn't glazed smooth). It takes less than a minute to do (maybe a bit longer if you have a knife that is in dire need of sharpening).
We have upscale grocery stores that have free knife sharpening here...worth a try.
This is super cheesy but true...I just want DH to come home. As far as tangible things, I'd like some new shoes for work, a subscription to Real Simple magazine, and some new pots & pans. I have cheap ones that I bought just after I was married 10 years ago; I think I'm due for some new ones!

Some new Philosophy face lotion, new slippers, a Nordy's gift card. Also, I would love to have some sort of day of beauty-you know when you get your hair and nails done and a massage. Back to reality, I would love to have my hair cut. I've had to cancel 4 times because lack of child care.
DH and I don't give each other holiday gifts anymore and our parents usually think of something great for the house or something like that (last year it was a new bookcase from the ILs and towels and kitchen equipment from my parents). But my birthday is right at the beginning of January and I'm debating between asking for baking stuff (actually, mostly decorating stuff since I want to learn to actually frost things nicely) and an e-reader (probably a Kindle, although the Kobo appeals to me a lot). I might ask my parents for one and DH for the other.
As for my list, I'd like an immersion blender, a programmable crockpot (we just had to throw ours away), iTunes gift card, a Barnes & Noble gift card (for my Nook), an Old Navy or Lane Bryant gift card for clothes, or some new bathroom towels. I'm really not too tough to shop for - lol!
My biggest wish is an iPad, however we are trying to save for a new house and for me to stay at home, so I feel I shouldn't get one. I'd also love a Keurig, some TV show seasons on DVD (Modern Family, Parenthood, HIMYM), and Kindle gift cards. Practical and not fun things I want include a carpet shampooer and a steam mop.

I really want a new iPad. I have a first generation one, but I'm finding that a lot of the new apps won't work with it. I would love the new iPad 2 with retina display. I doubt it's in our budget though. I also want a nice set of stainless steel cook wear, and urban decay naked eye shadow pallet.

I love/hate our Keurig. I love making single cups of coffee in it, but damn if it hasnt totally blown our budget. I mean, we finally stopped using it, because we were spending about $50 a month on coffee. Im way too cheap for that.

My sister is close. And since they are both firefighterparamedics....they know what to do in case of emergency! Haha! I totally sent Gator there when she was five months old and we went to Vegas for four days. I was so scared some sort of emergency would happen there was no way I would leave her with any other family member. ;

Totally random, but why not get the little basket cup so you can get regular coffee and use it in your machine? Saves so much money compared to buying the little cups!
I would love if SO cancelled the DirecTV. We pay like 120 dollars or more a month for it. But almost every show we watch religiously are all on regular tv channels. All of the cable shows he watches are just reality TV that sucks up time. We also have an AppleTV which we can get every show we watch on. We paid 100 dollars...a one time fee for it, and pay 10 a month for Hulu Plus. Yet we are still wasting money on the stupid DirecTV. For Christmas I want him to cancel it!

I was getting a coffee at Dunks every morning so when I switched to the Keurig I saved a ton, but I can see how going from a pot to the Kcups would cost a lot.
I have the little basket thing and I like it a lot - I tend to use that on the weekends and use the regular cups on the weekdays when I am in a rush. I highly suggest the basket thing mattandbekah!
We do not exchange for Christmas. My parents do not have money to buy us gifts and my IL's are clueless and will probably give us Summer Sausage from Wisconsin (like they did last year - really?). However, we hate our cell phone carrier and we plan on splurging on a new carrier so we can get IPhones. T-Mobile can suck it!

The reusable kcup is awesome! I use that sometimes and the kcups sometimes. It's definitely a cost savings.

i have Zumba for the Wii.......even my friend that is a Zumba instructor could barely keep up.....she said she thought it was going to be easy!
i have only used it once. I don't even have my Wii hooked up anymore and I am trying to sell my balance board because its taking up space. Sad

I want a rain coat. Thigh length at least, with a hood. I asked for this at Christmas and my birthday last year, but never got one.

And anasazi... I LOVE my Keurig! I say, tell DH to get over the reviews. LOL!
I love my Keurig - ask for one!
