1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? It's already painted a soft green, so that will stay. I'll add in other primary colors, regardless of the sex.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? In speculation, we tend to, but we haven't talked seriously.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) We're going to go public after Thanksgiving. Still plotting how.

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? No more wine or sushi. Well, I had veggie sushi. I might go back to regular sushi occasionally after 1st tri. Decaf coffee, although occasionally I have regular.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? I'm a teacher, so I'll have about 8-9 weeks off.

1. Our nursery (from our first kid) is light green with blue border. Even if this one is a girl, I doubt we'll change it. We're lazy.

2. Naming our first was all but impossible. I expect it to be just as hard this time... my DH hates pretty much every name on earth.

3. Oh man - I didn't even CONSIDER announcing as part of Christmas... hmmmm maybe. But I'll prob. just post on FB. (See #1 about the lazy factor)

4. No more alcohol (except for a few sips here and there) and I'm trying to cut down on coffee... but mostly failing. : I don't take many meds in general, so that was easy.

5. 12 weeks.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? The nursery is already painted baby yellow, and we'll keep it that way - gender neutral, but still goes with traditional boy or girl stuff!

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? We agree on a boy name - Henry... but girl names, not so much. He's stuck on a name I like but am not sold on, so getting him to open his mind to other possibilities is tough!

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) We're going to tell people on Thanksgiving, since I'll be 12 weeks that day. I'll have my genetic screening ultrasound the day before, so hopefully I'll have pictures to share!

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? Sushi (boo) and coffee (double boo)

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? I'm a SAHM and hope to be for at least the first year of this little one's life.... though I do tutor part-time. Depending on how tired I am, I can see myself tutoring a few hours a week when the LO is about 6 months old

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? I have migraine pills that I take on the onset of one. So far I haven't had one - I hope that continues. I cannot take my migraine meds while pregnant.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? 12 weeks.

I really am liking grey and white with either Teal, Orange, or yellow as an accent color.

We can come to agreement on some girl names but not on boy names.

I was thinking about sending out a christmas card with a picture of our shoes and then a pic of baby shoes..... if you havent seen it you should look on Pinterest, its adorable!

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking?

So far I will not drink anymore pop, try not to take any pain meds unless its something I cant get rid of after several hours of trying. I also havent had any sandwich meat or hot dogs...lol

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)?

I really hope we can make it work so I am able to stay home.

1 What colors have you thought of using for the nursery?

We did neutral beige with white furniture and green and lavender accents for DD. This LO will share the room with her, so if its a girl, nothing will change, and if its a boy we'll just tone down the girly accents.

2 Do you and your husband agree on names?

For the most part. We agreed on Jack for a boy years and years ago, after H's grandpa. We agreed pretty easily on DD's name and have a couple girl names in mind that we like. I've thrown a couple out there recently though that he thinks are too 'modern'; like Ada and Wren.

3 Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas if so have you decided what you are going to do?

We plan to announce to my extended family on Christmas Day. My parents and brother will already know, but I thought it'd be fun to announce it to all the cousins, aunts and uncles that way. Not sure what the plan is, though.

4 Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or meds taking?

Of course. Alcohol. Just a couple foods; raw fish, unpasteurized cheeses, shady deli meat. Meds, a ton. I get migraines and wicked stress headaches, and aspirin and my migraine triptan rx are both no gos. I have a cold right now and I won't use my normal medley of cold meds and nasal sprays.

5 How long after baby comes will you go back to work if you're not a SAHM?

I SAH. I do work part time at a stable but not sure if I plan to go back at all after the second baby.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? the walls are grey... we just moved in, and there's no chance we're going to repaint. I want it to be travel themed, don't know a good color scheme yet

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? No, not really. I don't drink, gave up caffeine about a 10 months ago, don't eat seafood. My only food vice is soft cheese, but my doctor told me they're ok as long as it's pasteurized.

When I hit 3 tri I will cut out Dairy and Soy(my boys had food allergies as babies so I have to cut them out of my diet if I want to breastfeed, just to be safe at first)

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? At the moment, I'm like natural and neutral colors... beige, whites, creams. I'm not loving the pink or blue, but that could change.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? No way! I'm set on using my sisters mn as a girl mn and DH has agreed (I don't think he loves it, but he can't really say he doesn't like my sisters mn, haha). He is a James & so is his dad, both go by mn. I'm not a huge fun of calling kids by mn but if its a boy, it'll be James something, it's the something we can't agree on.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) no way can I wait until Christmas. I'm having a hard enough time now as it is.

No idea. I don't know if we're going to have a theme. We didn't with DS, we just picked stuff we liked.

We still love our 2nd choice boy name, so we're all set if it's a boy. If it's a girl, no idea.

I think so. Not sure yet how or what. I'm sure DH will announce on Facebook.

No more booze. I wasn't taking meds, so ok on that. I've also cut out caffeine almost 100% - I'm only having 2 caffeinated tea drinks per week, and decaff tea the rest of the time. I'm also begrudgingly avoiding soft, raw milk cheeses. I love those damn things.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? Probably 4 months, maybe 5.

1. Dos will move into the nursery, DS is getting a new big boy room. We were team green so it's a neutral room already - yellow walls, sock monkey theme.

2. We have had the girl name chosen since DS (Isla) but can never decide on boy names.

3. We're announcing at Thanksgiving.

5. I'll be stopping my part time job, but will only take about a month or so off from my photography business.

What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? I don't think that we will paint the nursery, It is a tan color right now, so we just plan on leaving it that color and buying a crib set to match.

Do you and your husband agree on names? Yes, for a girl. If this one is another boy we might have some problems.

How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? I will take the full 12 weeks off, originally thought I would only take 10 weeks, but we decided to send the baby to daycare instead of getting a nanny so I don't want to send a baby any earlier than 12 weeks.

We will prob tell family after a good ultrasound or 2. Alcohol obviously and all the food no-nos, otherwise I have been weaned off caffiene and soda for a few months and don't take meds so hasn't been much of a change for me. 5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? Hoping to go back for a few days a week in December (so 5 months) then go back to my current schedule (8.45-3.15 M-F after the new year). We will see what the partners in the firm have to say...they were incredibly supportive with first and fingers crossed they will be with second. I love my job (Architect) and working keeps me creative and able to teach my little ones about cool stuff so I'll never fully give it up

2) Some we agree on. We agree on the boys, but the girl names we don't totally agree on.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? No at all. We are trying to sell our house so we can buy a bigger one at the moment.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? We have a top 5 for each sex. It's a mixture of leftover names from child #1 and a few new ones.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) We have told our immediate families but they are sworn to secrecy. I'm not sure when we will make it public. With DS, we waited until we had a great anatomy scan. Might do the same thing this time.

Walls we want grey, with white stripes on one wall... Going for a classy vintage vibe with a little chandelier, faux fur rug, white furniture and the accent color we'll decide when we figure out the sex!

In general I'm eating super healthy.. Lots of veggies, fruit, protein, no caffeine, no fish to avoid mercury, nothing processed or in pasteurized, etc.

The room the baby will be in is a sage green so we will add some yellow and grey accents.

Yes, the baby will be either Charlie Ray or Charley Rae. All of the kids will share the same middle name after their Grandfather and this one will be named after their other Grandfather

3. Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas if so have you decided what you are going to do? We are announcing at Thanksgiving but we do family picture Christmas cards and will incorporate the baby in the photo somehow.

What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? We currently rent and all the walls are white

We aren't suppose to paint so we will pull color in with decorations. DS and baby will share a room so it depends on if baby is a boy or girl. We haven't thought too far into it yet.

2 Do you and your husband agree on names? Not really but kinda, does that make sense? I like unusual and foreign names. DH likes more traditional. We have a few girl names we like but no boy names we agree on yet. It took us 8 months to name DS!

3 Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas if so have you decided what you are going to do? That is the plan if we can hide it that long. I make a picture book every Christmas of our family thru the last year for the grandparents so I thought of putting ultrasound pics on the very last page with something about DS being a big brother.

4 Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or meds taking? I haven't ruled out anything specific, just trying to do everything in moderation. I don't follow the food rules too strictly.

5 How long after baby comes will you go back to work if you're not a SAHM Probably 6 to 8 weeks depending on how much we can save beforehand and how much PTO I have built up. My job pays my health insurance as long as we work 20 hours per week so I need to use that much every week while on maternity leave unless I want to pay 1 month of insurance myself.

Keeping it the same - builder beige. Learned it's hard to pick big kid bedding when you painted for a nursery.

For girls, yes for the most part. For boys, not at all.

4) Nope. Still taking my anxiety meds. I wasn't drinking alcohol or caffeine before (for unrelated reasons), so no changes to diet really.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? For a girl, I'm sure purple will be the main color. For a boy, I will probably do a sports theme (baseball focused) since my husband is huge into sports.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? We both agreed instantly on girls names we liked: Makenzie Lynn, and Kalynn. Boys name have been more difficult. We both like Landon. I love the name Tristan for a boy and he does not like it at all.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) We will announce before then. Possibly even a Halloween announcement. We may come up with creative costumes for us to wear to let the secret out.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? The room is already a light sage green kind of color. If I didn't despise painting so much I'd consider changing it, but since we're team green that color works so we'll wait a couple years.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? Not really. We pretty much have the boy name narrowed down to family names. DH keeps giving a thumbs down to every girl's name I suggest. Not sure if he's just that convinced it's a boy or if he's really going to be difficult.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) If all is going well we're planning to announce at Thanksgiving (12 weeks). I brought up a few cute ideas and also mentioned that we could announceme it in our Christmas cards (and get them out early this year instead of Dec. 23rd like usual) - but DH thought all of that was silly. So far I'm thinking of giving MIL a frame three openings - one for each child and one that says "picture available 6/7/13". I don't know, I don't know if we should do something elaborate since it's our second pregnancy.

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? No more wine No more diet coke or anything else with aspertame or caffeine (though I have allowed myself some now and then but for the most part avoid it). As far as food, I'm not a big sushi or lunch meat fan so that's not hard. I think if anything I need to start being better about eating healthy.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? We only get 6 weeks but I'd like to take 12 weeks and since summer is usually a slow time at work for me it should work out - but we need to put a pencil to the numbers and make sure we can swing it.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? With 2 older LO's, it will all be hand-me-downs. Our nursery is tan walls, dark wood furniture, with lime green and sherbet orange dot theme.

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? I've cut back to 1 cup of coffee/day. No wine. I'm not a huge sushi fan anyway. I cut back on lunchmeats/hot dogs but not completely. I may try the nitrate-free kind.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? I'm a part-time WAHM and can set most of my own projects. I'll be able to work ahead to have a couple months completely off and then ease back into my regular schedule.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? ummm...we're planning to room share and then move soon after the baby's first birthday. So n/a. DD's room is beige with some girly colored decorations. If it's a girl I'll probably add her name in wooden letters, and if it's a boy, I'll probably do the wooden letters in boyish colors, and maybe get a few boyish pictures that compliment the girly ones.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? For the most part, yeah, we do.

3) Do you plan on announcing close to Christmas (if so have you decided what you are going to do?) No, I'm going to announce after we go to the doctor next week. My husband already blabbed to all his friends, we've told close family, and I've told a few close friends. The only people who "don't know" are co-workers, but they suspect.

4) Since getting your BFP is there anything you are no longer eating drinking or (meds) taking? I used to drink at least one huge fountain Diet Coke daily. Miss them.

5) How long after baby comes will you go back to work (if you're not a SAHM)? I'm a teacher, and I'll take at least the rest of summer break, plus 12 weeks FMLA once the school year starts. I might see if they'll let me take the entire semester off. So, either 4.5 months or 6.5 months.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? Not sure. We'll probably have to move so we'll wait until we see the new place.

2) Do you and your husband agree on names? If the twins are B/G or B/B, we're all set. If they're two girls, it'll take forever to get the second named.

1) What colors have you thought of using for the nursery? We'll likely be reusing my sons nursery and moving him to our guest room. Rental so no painting. If it's a girl we'll likely get different sheets or something, but that's about it.

I was bf'ing for nearly a year, stopping not even a month before this BFP, so I never got into the habit of taking stuff that wouldn't be safe while pg again. I'm cooking my meats more thoroughly though, I guess that is a change.
