I posted this on the July board with not many responses. DS is a chill baby who is very relaxed. Much different from how DD was. He is EBF and we introduced the bottle at 4 weeks. He took it like a champ no issues. DH or another family memeber has always been the one to give him bottles. DH travels a lot with work and we have not been consistent with them because if I am home I just nurse him. Well starting Saturday night ( I was out) he started refusing the bottle. While I still plan to continue nursing I need a break. Please, any suggestions on how to get him to take the bottle again. TIA
Re: suggestions please....
Just keep trying, a baby will never allow themselves to go hungry, so if he really is hungry he'll take it any way it's offered.
Ben did this when he was a few months old. I had to supplement with formula and he started refusing breastmilk (that I pumped at work) in the bottles that we had, even though he would drink the formula out of those bottles just fine. I went out and bought a Playtex nurser bottle (w/ the drop in liners) and that did the trick. GL!
