Lo is still in the NICU and is doing well. I'm thinking about sending out birth announcements- although a little late at this point. Maybe take a cute picture of her with a 2 month sticker on her onsie (her 2 months is soon approaching, I can't believe it!).
Everyone who is going to get them knows that she has been born. A few have visited in the NICU, but most have not. And I don't want a parade of people at the house once she gets discharged because i'm anxious about germs so I figured this would be a way to get everyone a recent picture and say thanks for all their support. Did you send out announcements late or not at all? What are your thoughts?

We sent out an announcement card with Adalyn's name and birth stats, inside said Thanks for the thoughts and Prayers, and the back had a pic of the day we brought her home. We did this when she was 6 months old and included the most recent pic on the front. Everyone loved it! It felt really good to send them out. :

I bought birth/welcome home announcments on etsy from FourHarpDesigns seller. It looks like she's on vacation, but she's worth the wait. Very reasonably priced and easy to work with. A link to a sample of the design we used is below.
